Timo was damn lucky to win this match. He started out extremely tight, made tons of errors and gave Samsonov a big lead. Kudos to him for find a way to win this incredibly tight match.
samsonov fought so hard some of the matches were just so close and timo was under pressure but he one of greatest for a reason because he knows how to pull himself together and fight back to win most player wouldv'e have failed to win because of the huge amount of pressure but well done TIMO!!!
if you're fine with the summary of the match here you could use e.g. a firefox plugin that enables you to save this vid to your hard drive. The quality loss during the conversion (if there is at all) is negligible.

Timo is in the shape of his lifetime. He improved his footwork etc. Hard to beat this year. I´m curious, how he plays during the world championship. He was slightly injured, but i don´t think, this will stop him. My prediction: He- or Wang Hao will be the new world champion.
Great final indeed and I agree with samsonov123 that this was their best encounter so far (and that's saying something). But, poor Vladi. Such a great sportsman (like Timo). I would have happily granted him the win this time although I am big fan of Timo's. Losing two European championships and by now the third Top12 title against the same man must be a tough thing to bear although their wins are more or less equally distributed among them. Anyways, I wish we see more of that in the future. Bye
Samsonov blocks its the one of best of the world, and he is not blocking too mutch, he blocks when is necessary, and he attacks is very powerfull (spin) (sorry for bad englesh)
I'm sure you know but there is an option to turn off those annotations. On the far right of the toolbar click on it and two options will come up. Hover over the first one, it should be red and say turn annotations off. That solves your problem. Hope it helps :) Jesus10019

hello. samsonov won the world cup 3 times, in 1999, 2001, 2009, more than timo who had won the tournament 2 times, in 2002 and 2005. in 2001, samsonov beat the world number 1 wang liqin in the final with 4 straight games. in 2009, he beat ma long in semi final, and chen qi in final and also in the group stage. i think vladi is better than timo, as if we look at intercontinental cups but they both are so good and their levels are so close.
Final was only one interesting match. Why Timo beat Vladi again? Because he is atacker and Vladi too much blocking...In this highlights ins t looks that, but i saw whole match and Vladi is just so much blocking...
