@YotkeK Thanks! More to come. 8>) Hopefully you've seen my latest few. Because it's gonna be tough to keep up soon... if you're an iBanker. Anyway, thanks. Time to do something else important... like watch more table tennis on youtube. 8>D
I like to chop with high spin rubber like Friendship on forehand and backhand. I think most choppers today use long pimples on one side. Attack style is more popular because it is better but this causes bias in rules to favor style of most players. I think if bat rules were looser we might get some better attacking bats but also better defensive ones.I very much like watching hard bat games where everyone has the same type of bat, but also like games with various styles of rubbers and blades. I find Xiom Pro V surprisingly good for chopping although it is a looping rubber. I was disappointed when having two different rubbers the same color was banned.
I'd like people that watched this video to watch it again and people that doesn't also to see the difference of game style of the Bielorussian: 1st set:Long balls, Timo hits every ball, no way he loses the set 2nd set : The bielorussian starts to slow down the game, play more in the FH of Timo (in order to use his BH with more spin) 3rd set : THE point. Every ball is short and really accurate! Timo can't topspin fast so that's easier for him. A model of tactic, every defenser should learn it!
That guy beat Rosskopf in 2003 earning Belarus the European Team Championship. For all the hype and huge amount of money spent on their team Germany won the EUTC for the first time in 2007 after Denmark and Belarus.
Still great play to be able to pick up a game off of Boll, Boll typically destroys defenders, even Joo only has three wins against him in 13 tries, 2 of them this year. Impressive, switching to inverted to chop weakspun balls regardless of side twiddling to get them.
The Problem is the Evolution of TT and the development of Pimples In rubbers faster more spin more control more power the p ball makes hard smashed topspin even harder to return with decent spin as a chopper me as a chopper (16 y.o) can wear down enemies an win 3:2 after getting smashed 0:2 before and you gotta admit that the choppers FH balls in this case are insanely good with their immense sidespin but timo reading the spin like a children's book makes it hard to win for the chopper
Yes. Timo beat Chtchetinine THIS time. But NEXT time......... Timo will probably win as well. Ok, so Timo wins those two.... and maybe three, four and five... but you wait until the big #6!!!!!! THAT will be a match!! That Timo also wins. When it gets really late... my sense of humor... gets a little funny. FUNNY!!! Oh man... I meant strange. Is it tired in here or is it just me?
Belarus won the European Team Championship in 2003 beating Germany.Germany won it for the first time in 2007. Belarus' TT budget is like 5 percent of that of Germany.Timo Boll for all the hype he gets he could never beat the Chinese in a major.Samsonov actually did it in 1997.
I cannot stand choppers!!! They just prolong the inevitability of their defeat. Being defensive can only take you so far. Really think about it. How many defensive players do you ever see in the finals of the WTTC or the World Cup?
Defenders need a deadly attack on loose balls to elicit more errors. I once saw a top defender who would kill any ball pushed with the wrong spin. But to be both good at general attack and defense takes twice the training.
Joo Saehyuk on the World Cup in 2003, he beat Ma Lin(quarterfinals) and Kalinikos Kreanga(semifinal), and please don't leave a comment about defenders without knowing about their careers.
The defender appears to be some form of grotesque woodland creature darting about the floor as if attempting to fend off invaders from his chosen treehouse. Complete with those bizarre cartoony eyes with a comical intensity. Evgueni may be ranked in the top 100, yes, but it is certain beyond a shadow of a doubt there are over 1,000 players in china ALONE who could soundly defeat him. He holds the upper rank as there are only a limited number of openings for players to compete. China's best...
Grumbel Bumbel Even disregarding his comments about Chinese players, why does OP hate Evgueni so much 😂 it’s like OP has a personal vendetta against him
