What does the blue/neon reflective arm bands signify? Awesome video as well lol. My names Mike and I ride too, wish it were there with those beautiful machines though haha!

Hi Mike, thanks for taking the time to comment. Great that you've enjoyed the video. In Endurance racing, for say, 4hr, 8hr or 24 hours there are very strict rules about how long a rider can be out racing the bike, and how much rest they must have. The easiest way for the officials to identify the different riders in a team is to give them coloured arm bands, they are reflective as some of the racing happens in the dark at night. As there can be up to 150 riders at an event for qualifying, the different qualifying sessions are split in to groups, like 'red group' 'blue group' etc. so this also helps. Once you have signed on at race control your colour is assigned to you, and you must not change it for the whole race weekend, as this is how officials recognise you out on track. Hope this helps.

@@MikeSpikeEdwards Thank you for taking the time to give me such an in depth explanation I really appreciate it! That is a simplistically clever way of keeping track of so many riders and groups. Thank's again for all the awesome content as I am aspiring to get into racing bikes it is really cool and helpful to see what it's like first hand! Looks like a great time! Best of luck and take care!
