Why do you think that? Social media narrative? English media forever have talked up and enjoyed young foreign talent within context, regardless of English players. Saying he is clear of English wingers, when he's up there with wingers from anywhere, at 16, that's the point.

Been watching football since across the 1970s. Seen Cruyff, Beckenbauer, Maradona, at their very peaks. But I can honestly say in all that time. I've never seen a more gifted European teenage player like Yamal. I stated that four months ago on X. So I'm so happy to see the impact he's made at these Euro's. Nevertheless, Musiala is also like Yamal, a close control dribble fiend. I think Germany at home will win this one. Just think, they've got that bit more experience & know how.
