Returning from my trip to Hungary/Austria I booked a seat on the prestigious DB ICE train. (ICE 792 14.41 Munchen - Hamburg) We departed punctually from Munich (Munchen) at 14.41. I captured the scenery as we sped along through the lovely German Countryside at speeds then of around 155 + MPH. The interior is so very quiet and smart with the solar glass windows you do not get roasted by the sun. I briefly filmed as we stopped in Ulm, Geislingen to Sussen and Stuttgart. A splendid shot of the yard as we departed out of the station and then finally as we arrived in Mannheim at 17.30 Hrs. Here we had to change trains so I got to see our ICE depart for Frankfurt and Hamburg. Our journey of 232 miles/372 Kms took 2 hours 39 minutes.
I do hope this video entertains and evokes old fond memories of the European Railway Scene of the era.
