Wonder how many other nations have lost equipment like this. I know they are still finding German tanks that were ditched in marshes at the end of the war. I have watched quite a few of this guys videos and he is clear, quick and often funny. I liked the one where he talks about the USS Barb - The Submarine That Sank A Train. If you haven't already seen it, it is interesting.

Btw the front glascis thickness of "12 inches" works out to approx 305mm, basically the same as a battleship.

that was lost in the 50's, way before homing tech was a thing. it had to be dropped due to the plane going down if i remember right.

It was a temporary engine for testing. I believe it was intended to have a 1500hp engine.
