European Union Boycotts Hungary's Viktor Orban Over His Outreach to Russia | Vantage with Palki Sharma
Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban's recent Russia-Ukraine peace mission has drawn ire of the European Union. Brussels is seemingly upset with Orban's attempt to "bypass the bloc". This comes weeks after Hungary assumed the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union. Tensions ensued within the bloc after Orban's recent visit to Ukraine and Russia, where he tried to play peacemaker and broker a truce between them. The Hungarian Prime Minister even went on to advise Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to accept ceasefire. In retaliation to Orban's outreach to Russia, EU's top diplomat, Josep Borrell is hosting a rival meeting in Brussels, which was earlier supposed to be held in Hungary's capital Budapest. Palki Sharma tells you more.

What he really wants is a chunk of Ukraine. He is in a win-win situation. If Russia wins, he gets the piece of Ukraine west of the Carpathians and maybe even Ruthenia. If Ukraine wins or at least holds on, he gets protected from Russian aggression. He is playing his cards well or so he thinks. Peacemaker? NOT!

You hit it on the head! The EU and NATO have no resolve to wage the war against Russia. Victor Orban and Trump will end the Ukraine War in November. The result will be with Ukraine declaring neutrality and surrendering the Ethnic Russian occupied provinces held by Russia since 2014. The result will be peace and Ukraine can start rebuilding with trade and support from the East and the West. Then if they still exist, the EU and NATO can continue to enjoy the peace that has existed in the west since 1946 and since 1989 for the former Soviet Satellite nations.

If Ukraine goes to war for a long time, eventually there will be no one to sit at the negotiating table from the Ukrainian side. Ukraine blocked the Lukoil oil pipeline in the direction of Hungary and Slovakia. Hungary does not receive 35%, Slovakia 45% of oil. This is a serious violation of the international treaty signed by Ukraine too.😐

He never went in the name of the EU. He never said that. He directly told he went on behalf of Hungary and on behalf of the Hungarian people after the EU election when he received his mandate to do so. In Hungary people voted him and supporting him to actively advocate peace.
