17 March was not only St Patrick's day!
It was also a #euroscola day, when close to 450 high-school students and their teachers, coming from 21 EU countries, occupied the seats of MEPs in Parlement Européen - Strasbourg.
They had the opportunity to ask their questions directly to the Belgian MEP Marc Tarabella. Those ranged from the fight against racism to the guarantee of economic and social rights for all EU citizens.
In the afternoon, the students voted on proposals submitted by their peers on some key EU issues, including security and human rights, migration and integration, international cooperation for development, environment and renewable energy.
