New graphics update for Euro Truck Simulator 2 looks good :D

I am neither a European nor a truck driver, nor have I passed these roads. But thank to ETS2, I can drive on these roads without getting lost :)

Eurotunnel. It’s a border crossing between Calais, France and Folkestone, England. It goes under the English channel and lorries, buses, and cars has to board a specially designed train to make the crossing

увидел мову на приборе, решил подписаться и поставить лайк :) сам тракер, начинал в России в 2017. живу в грузовике и катаюсь по европе с 2021 года, тогда же переехал в прекрасный сербский Нови-Сад. нас русских, украинцев и белорусов в европе оказывается очень много, что поначалу неожиданно было для меня. и ни одного неадеквата-психа не встречал. все мужики простые и работящие, а главное добрые и непредвзятые. недавно на стоянке под Бергамо познакомился с мужиком родом с Полтавщины, услышал краем уха русскую речь с характерным "гхэ"))) офигенный свойский мужик, Ваня зовут. обменялись блюдами на ужин, покурили да поворчали о наболевшем. всё-таки несмотря на тот ад, что творят некоторые люди, очень греют душу такие дружеские посиделки. как родных воспринимаешь, что-ли, таких людей большой привет и уважение тебе, брат славянин. ровной дороги тебе, крепких нервов и здоровья!

When I leave the train in France I always take a right turn Way quicker en there is a petrol station as well for coffee a croissant or anything else Nice place to sleep aswell There is a sign saying no right turn but been doing it for years never had a fine or anything The petrol station is also a nice place to sleep

before the war do you or your other truck drivers goes to russia or just drive in EU COUNTRIES ? i drive a truck too but city one i don’t know if it’s easy to drive outside of the countries . in my opinion i think it’s fun to drive and travel and see new countries and what’s your opinion?😊

I've used the channel tunnel many times with a motorcycle, always wondered what the HGV process was like, so thanks. But..........your camera is quite disorientating, I'm assuming it's on your head? Too much movement. Be better if it was mounted static.

No doubt you lorry drivers travel separate then cars or bus drivers

Do you stay inside the cab for the tunnel trip? I had heard there was a passenger carriage for the drivers.

im guessing for security reasons you cant film the tunnel itself? Was very interesting tho and ive read about the tunnel but never been able to see it with my own eyes.

I've become so accustomed to jump cuts that I don't even see them anymore... It took me a few tries but the cut at 6:48 is when entering the train on one side stopped, and exiting it at the other side starts. I was like, why does he drive off again, is he going to bypass a bunch of trucks and enter the train farther ahead?!? But no, we had already crossed...

I used to work on the platforms from 2008-2102, strange to see a few changes since then in terms of procedures: 4:35, the security guard should be checking both sides of each HGV before boarding to ensure no rips in the curtain, fuel caps are in place and no overhanging. 8:05, the security guard should be standing at the end of the loader to prevent drivers from thinking they need to drive through the whole train as this can lead to confusion so to which vehicle is last (on arrival) and first (on departure). Not sure on the French side, but loading HGV's on B10 in England was brilliant for the Agent 5 (the guy I mentioned at 4:35) and the Agent 6 (who loads the front half) as there was only one entrance and exit ramp. So plenty of room for moving vehicles around if needed to swap HGV's around. I spent the first 3 years as a 'chocker' (the lads that put the metal blocks under the wheels) and the final year as both Agent 5 and 6. Good times.

I don't know much about trucking, I've only really played a bit of Euro Truck Sim 2, but to be honest trucking in Europe looks like a pretty nice job. I,ve always thought the insides of these trucks look very cozy :)

Really interesting, my late Uncle used to drive on the continent so it's nice to see the route he would have no doubt taken hundreds of times.
