@@naerokathgor well you wouldn't expect them to be singing about love would you? The song is rythmic and the singers are dressed like that kinda just for gags, so one wouldn't expect the lyrics to be beautiful and meaningful.

Marija Serifovic wasn't out when she won. Everyone assumed but she wasn't out. She came out almost a decade later. Also, Slovenia is central Europe and most of Balkan is south of Europe. Or southeast to be maybe a bit more precise.

I wonder how this entry was received back then. Surely they got a lot of hate, there must have been homophobic protests in Slovenia and even commentators from several broadcasters gave disrespectful comments against them. They were so brave👏🏻🏳️🌈
Zdi se mi, da zadnjih dvajset let sodniki za Evovizijo izbirajo samo homoseksualne pevce ali transvestite, bolj zaradi politične korektnosti kot kakovosti. Moram pa priznat, da je pesem od Sester spevna, tista od Conchite je bila pa špica.
I've done a fair bit of flying until now, but never got stewardesses like these. Someone get them the job, or the gig (would be more appropriate) ;) Imagine it-LGBT Airlines, rainbow-colored seats and pink window blinds, there's Village People from the speakers and instead of the usual emergency instructions, the stewardesses are voguing through the middle ;)
I cant remember which airline it was (Edit: It was a Virgin Atlantic Pride Flight in 2019!) They had a flight with drag queen air hostesses on a large long haul flight and apparently it was a party! A straight family accidentally booked on to it without realising. Google it, it should come up and the story is amazing!
