Really weird year.Some countries really went crazy xD My favourite back then was Ukraine,but now my winner is Serbia😊I wouldn't mind two Serbian winnings in a row,expecially when two songs are amazing!
I'm gonna agree with the others in the comments and say that Serbia is also my winner, and that's a second in a row after Molitva being my winner in 2007. 2008 is actually one of my favourite years, not only because of nostalgia but also because of me liking many songs from this year. Yes it was a bit extra but there.were real gems among the craziness. It's too bad that a year with such great songs had a just top 15 material song as a winner. My top 15: 1. Serbia: just magical 2. Georgia: really like the emotion on this one 3. Portugal: also very special and heartfelt 4. Poland: always had a weak spot for this 5. Norway: timeless and easy to listen 6. Armenia: bop of the year, this is the definiton of catchy 7. Greece: bop of the year #2, really cute and genuine 8. Albania: great emotional ballad 9. Turkey: really nice dark rock 10. Bosnia and Herzegovina: craziness overload but there's a great song inside there 11. Israel: has an epic feel to it, but I always end up placing it around here 12. Iceland: a great edm song, can really rock on to this 13. Ukraine: it's a quality pop song, there's just something missing to me, dont know what 14. Russia: nice emotional ballad but there were better songs, voices and performances I think these 14 are the standout acts of the year, so my 15th has a gap from others 15. Sweden: nice song, really overrated by fans but its still catchy Just realised 13/15 of my top 15 were actually in the top 15. Azerbaijan and Latvia who placed top 15 are also quite fine.
It's a shame San Marino has been delegated mostly to joke/deliberately (or not) bad entries. I think Complice is an amazing song and it would be nice to see more Sammarinese talent one of these days (as always, bless Valentina for trying).

Cmon man ! Of your it’s about your preferences but in my opinion Georgia-peace will come was a great song. If you didn’t like their staging, I just want to remind you that singer was blind. But her voice was unique and has a taste. Don’t misunderstand me, I can like what you don’t like. Mostly I agree with you except Georgia :)
