Azerbaijan is so underrated man. Like i got sooooo mad when they got so low from the televote

I really think that my opinion is very unpopular this year, like I've hardly seen anyone ranking Switzerland or Germany high or sum.. I mean, these aren't the best songs, but still, as I watched the final I really enjoyed their performances, while I almost fell asleep at Greece, Sweden and Portugal (I'm always listening to all the songs after the show and they aren't too bad, but still quite boring in my opinion, at least in comparison to the Nederlands for example, though they had a "slow" song as well)

My top 3 of the year after the final: 1st) United Kingdom (Am I little bit biased being British? Probably. But for the first time I felt truly proud of what we sent and as much as I did like the song before, this performance was incredible) 2nd) Sweden (This was my favourite before the show and it still lives up to my expectations. Cornelia has so much passion and emotion and the high powerful note at the end is such a great change from the studio version) 3rd) Spain (The biggest grower of the year for me. I actually really wasn't a fan of this song beforehand. I just felt it was very plastic. But this new live performance and the slight changes they made to the song absolutely sold it. Well done Chanel for changing my mind)

Totally winner SERBIA second Poland and No3 Portugal

Sweden didn't do anything special, so I definitely don't see it as a winner. Cyprus vocals were far from the good one. I didn't like the performance of Albania. Azerbaijan, Italy, Ukraine and Serbia are my favorites. Poland and United Kingdom were Aldi very good. P.s. I am happy with the real results.

My top 40 after the show (compared to my top before the show): 1. 🇬🇧 United Kingdom: Sam Ryder - Space Man (+7) If you told me in January that UK would be my winner of ESC 2022, I wouldn't believe it. But it happened, finally the UK woke up and sent such an amazing song and singer, and actually were close to win the contest (and maybe would've won if there was no war in Ukraine). I hope that they started a new era here, and won't go back to the bottom 5 next year... 2. 🇸🇪 Sweden: Cornelia Jakobs - Hold Me Closer (-1) My favourite Swedish entry in years (at least in the semi finals era), and I'm so happy that she got Sweden's highest televote score since 2015. I hope they'll keep on sending such good songs, and not go back to generic pop... 3. 🇷🇸 Serbia: Konstrakta - In corpore sano (+4) Probably the most iconic entry this year! I was afraid of the jury ruining her chance, but they didn't, thank God, and she finished top 5 as she should. 4. 🇳🇱 Netherlands: S10 - De diepte (-2) I've always loved this song, but I was afraid of it being a Belgium 2018 scenario. But in the end, she didn't! I'm so happy that she got a decent result, even though it should've been top 10. 5. 🇵🇹 Portugal: Maro - Saudade, Saudade (-1) It was so magical on stage. I mean, those harmonies... not that I didn't expect it to be. I'm so happy that the jury appreciated her so much, but sadly the low televote was expected, because of the bad running order spot. 6. 🇺🇦 Ukraine: Kalush Orchestra - Stefania (-1) Unpopular opinion: I think that as a song, it's a deserved winner, and maybe it would've won also without the war (but after a close voting, and definitely not by such a landslide). I think it's a great song, and the performance was strong as expected from Ukraine. 7. 🇫🇷 France: Alvan & Ahez - Fulenn (-4) How the f*ck could this masterpiece finish SECOND LAST?? Even the harmonies weren't that bad. I hope to see France doing well again next year, like in 2021. 8. 🇮🇸 Iceland: Systur - Međ hækkandi sól (-2) It wasn't as magical as their NF performance, but the song is still beautiful in my opinion, so I'm happy that at least they qualified. 9. 🇲🇩 Moldova: Zdob şi Zdub & Frații Advahov - Trenulețul (+4) I knew they were going to qualify since the beginning, but the 2nd place in the televote was really surprising. But their performance was just pure fun, after many ballads in a row... 10. 🇱🇻 Latvia: Citi Zēni - Eat Your Salad (+6) The whole audience shouting "Pussy" was one of the best moments of this ESC. You can't censor a whole arena! It was a really fun and energetic performance, just like the song itself. Definitely should've qualified. 11. 🇨🇾 Cyprus: Andromache - Ela (-2) The vocals ruined her chance to qualify, but she was still very close. The staging looked really good and I still really like the song. 12. 🇮🇹 Italy: Mahmood & Blanco - Brividi (-2) The song is really good and the staging was soild, but their harmonies didn't work at all live (unlike in Sanremo), so I saw this (kind of) flop coming. 13. 🇬🇪 Georgia: Circus Mircus - Lock Me In (-2) I didn't expect it to qualify or something, but last place in the semi was really undeserved. It's such a fun song with a crazy staging. 14. 🇱🇹 Lithuania: Monika Liu - Sentimentai (=) I've always liked this song, but I didn't expect it to qualify and almost enter the televote's top 10... the performance was really classic and elegant. 15. 🇪🇪 Estonia: Stefan - Hope (=) A good song with a good performance (despite the black sun ruining it a bit). It was a good closing to the final and it got a deserved result. 16. 🇨🇿 Czech Republic: We Are Domi - Lights Off (+4) I thought it was going to be weak vocally and NQ, but Domi has proven me wrong and gave a great performance. But their low place in the final was expected... 17. 🇦🇱 Albania: Ronela Hajati - Sekret (=) Well, the performance was quite weak, but the song is still fun. I think it still should've qualified - we needed some more uptempos in the final... 18. 🇬🇷 Greece: Amanda Georgiadi Tenfjord - Die Together (+1) The staging was really good, and I like the song, but I still feel like it was a bit overrated. Vocally it wasn't that good. 19. 🇮🇪 Ireland: Brooke Scullion - That's Rich (+10) I didn't pay much attention to her before the show, but it was really fun on stage, and it has grown on me a lot. I think she should've qualified over Azerbaijan/Australia/Finland/Belgium/Romania. 20. 🇵🇱 Poland: Ochman - River (+4) The song has grown on me a bit, and he gave a great performance, but still, I never thought he was a contender to win. A deserved result. 21. 🇪🇸 Spain: Chanel - SloMo (+9) I'm happy to see Spain doing well again after so many years, but the song is still not my thing. She gave a great performance, so I can't completely ignore that, but for me the song is still the more important part. 22. 🇧🇪 Belgium: Jeremie Makiese - Miss You (-10) What was that performance?? Jeremie was great in The Voice, but there it was quite weak vocally... I'm surprised it still managed to qualify with that performance. But I still like the song in studio. 23. 🇸🇮 Slovenia: LPS - Disko (-1) The song is really nice in my opinion, and it didn't deserve last place in the whole contest, although it was expected. Also, the staging didn't help them... 24. 🇨🇭 Switzerland: Marius Bear - Boys Do Cry (-6) The song is really nice and emotional, but the performance was weak vocally, and again, the black sun ruined it a bit. I thought it could be a big dark horse before the rehearsals, but in the final I saw the 0 televoting points coming. 25. 🇳🇴 Norway: Subwoolfer - Give That Wolf a Banana (+3) Subwoolfer really are icons, and their performance was really good, but I'm still not a big fan of the song. 26. 🇩🇪 Germany: Malik Harris - Rockstars (=) It was quite nice on stage, but the song is still forgettable (although it's not bad), so the last place was expected. 27. 🇭🇷 Croatia: Mia Dimšić - Guilty Pleasure (=) The staging was nice and elevated the song a bit, and so was the last chorus in Croatian. The song is nice but not really interesting. 28. 🇸🇲 San Marino: Achille Lauro - Stripper (+5) It has grown on me a bit, after they elevated it with the performance, so I could live with it if he qualified. But still, those vibes of Måneskin from Ali Express... 29. 🇲🇪 Montenegro: Vladana - Breathe (-4) The song had some potential (if only it was in Montenegrin...), but the staging was very forgettable, so the result was expected. 30. 🇧🇬 Bulgaria: Intelligent Music Project - Intention (+1) The song isn't good, but it has some nice parts (especially the guitar solo). The result was totally expected. 31. 🇫🇮 Finland: The Rasmus - Jezebel (-8) Their performance was really weak, so I thought they would be a surprise NQ, but in the end they weren't. The low place in the final was expected. 32. 🇦🇹 Austria: DJ LUM!X ft. Pia Maria - Halo (-11) The song is really a guilty pleasure, but the performance was really weak, especially vocally. I was not surprised at all about their NQ. 33. 🇦🇲 Armenia: Rosa Linn - Snap (+1) The staging idea was quite creative, but in the end, it was very forgettable in the final. And I'm still not a fan of the song. 34. 🇲🇰 North Macedonia: Andrea - Circles (-2) My opinion about it hasn't really changed, even though the performance was nice. I'm surprised that she was actually close to qualify... 35. 🇮🇱 Israel: Michael Ben David - I.M (+2) The staging elevated it for sure, but Eurovision is still a SONG contest, not a staging contest, and the song isn't good, so I'm not surprised that we NQed. 36. 🇩🇰 Denmark: Reddi - The Show (=) One of the most forgettable songs this year, and the performance didn't change it. The lead singer has no charisma. 37. 🇦🇿 Azerbaijan: Nadir Rustamli - Fade to Black (-2) The song is nothing special, and even the staging couldn't save it. But the jury liked it for some reason, and it qualified despite getting 0 televoting points... 38. 🇦🇺 Australia: Sheldon Riley - Not the Same (+2) So it looked a bit better than in the NF, but it definitely wasn't an Australia 2019 case. My opinion about the song hasn't changed. 39. 🇷🇴 Romania: WRS - Llamamé (-1) How did this qualify??? I mean, it was very cringe, both the song and the staging. But at least I'm happy for Romania that they qualified again after 5 years... 40. 🇲🇹 Malta: Emma Muscat - I Am What I Am (-1) Everything was bad there. The song is very generic and uninteresting, the staging was very cheap and bad and even the vocals didn't save it. Thank God the jury didn't overrate it...

Canciones como las de España, República Checa, Albania e Irlanda, las mejores para un festival. Para baladas, bastante triste está el mundo. UK bien pero me parece una canción pop que en manos de los hermanos Gallagher la bordan. Y la canción protesta de Serbia con palangana incluida a mi no me dice nada. Es mi opinión pero para los tiempos que corren es mejor la fiesta que tristezas ya tenemos bastantes.
