The long awaited Part 2 of the Camera Fails is finally here!! I hope you guys appreciate this as much as the first part. EXTRA INFORMATION ⚠️ In addition to the regular fails in the live shows, I have also added fails from dress rehearsals to show that nothing happens by itself and that these rehearsals are precisely there to ensure that everything runs smoothly during the live shows! *In the information bar at the beginning of each clip you can also see when these fails were 𝘐 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘌𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘪𝘴𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘶𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘬𝘴𝘪 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴 🙏 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴!!
Honestly I really love it whenever there are some minor fails and bloopers. Kinda seems authentic in a way. Compare it to these over-produces music shows from the US where everything seems perfect.
The fact that most of these happened in the rehearsals just goes to show why there’s so goddamn many of them. Like of course there’ll be small things during the live shows (Petra messing ups the words, a little to long before they change to the right delegation in voting etc.), but the ‘bigger’ mistakes seems to mainly happen during rehearsals lol
The camera in Nemo's winning performance wasn't a mistake. They did live cutting on this one so the director selected the shot specifically at that moment
I'd rather say it wasn't a single mistake. The director wanted that shot from the crane at the end of the song but probably didn't have enough time to specify more. So the crane parked at the corner of the stage with the trophy instead of hiding more to the side. And lastly Nemo spots the crane and goes there sooner than the director anticipated thinking that they'd switch to that shot earlier. And now we have Nemo performing to a camera that's in the way of the others because the director won't take the crane shot yet.
The music playing between the acts was used when the stage wasn’t ready in time. Remember that the “jury shows” are actually dress rehearsals where everything is trimmed to run smoothly in the actual broadcast.
Iirc there's another blooper in the grand final where Malin Åkerman is doing the green room interviews forgets to raise the microphone to Nemo so we can hear lol. Timecode is 3:32:24. You can see the "oh 👀" moment someone talks in her earpiece.
i am actually a bit mad that the stage delay sound was only used in that way. it brings back so many memories to 2013 and 2016, sonically very similar to those soundtracks
I don't know if this is a blooper or not, but in grand final (jury show), they didn't show which country won on screen, there was just text saying "COUNTRY WON EUROVISION 2024".
This edition was chaotic from start to finish. We have never had so many mistakes and bloopers, this was not the quality we are used to from the SVT, previous editions in sweden. Melodifestivalen was messy too
I'm new to Eurovision so what does it mean when some of these clips have the "(jury show)" in front of the name? Is it like rehearsals before the show goes live?
How did someone know/notice that Päevakoer (Estonia) sang the wrong lyrics? When I as an estonian watched the live I wished for subtitles cause I couldn't keep up with their singing (in a good way)
4:42 I think that they didn't try to remove the camera from the shot because it was the final song and they just didn't care anymore, and for the trophy breaking, sorry but that was Nemo's fault.
The reason why he broke the trophy (Nemo) and past winners did not is because the trophy that nemo broke had no stability which is the thing in the past trophies and the trophy that he did not break had stability in it
