The fact that my winners have come 2nd for three years in a row now annoys me deeply, but there's nothing I can do. Hopefully I have better luck next year.

It's a good song but I just don't connect with it as much as other clearly do. There were quite a few songs I preferred that year.

Malta 2005 is way too underrated here. Btw my least favourites (from 2009) are: 2014 (the worst), 2019 and 2011. My favourites: 2018,2017,2013 😊

Lane Moje should be Top 5 at least. Such a very beautiful song! On par with Lejla, Oro and Molitva. Zeljko Joksimovic is a legend!

It sucks that for two years in a row the televote winner has been unable to win due to the juries but Switzerland was great as well so im not too upset about it.

The thing is, even if Croatia got 2nd in the jury, they still would've lost to Switzerland. 1st in televote and 2nd in jury would've not beaten 1st in jury and 5TH in Televote, which is actually insane

Not at all. I actually never noticed it was to do with war and didnt know about her supporting Putin. I just put it high because I like the melody and her voice.

The only ones from these list that would be good enough to actually win in other years are 2009, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2022. But the best one with distance is 2021. Only how 2023 can be in the top 10 is a mystery for me. Just that year it shouldn't even have been in the top 10 since it was just a freak show and nothing more.

It's a very catchy and memorable song, and I think that's what caught people's attention. I find the song just to be a lot of fun and repeatable. There's a reason it got one of the highest televote scores of all time.
