I love how the video barely started and Deban already has his annoyed face lol. Deban is not having it with this year's entries. Anyway, Denmark is one of my favorites this year. Not my winner and definitely not ground breaking in any way but it's such a pleasant, innocent song that I need in my life sometimes. Kinda like their entry last year, which worked really well for them and was also in my top ten. Sometimes these nice, harmless songs is a good thing. Plus, Ben and Tan are lovely on stage. Too bad they're not coming back next year
Deban and William need to do a 2020 Top Ten Shade thrown between them during the live reaction videos and Wiwi Jury. The highlights from this video would make the Top Three. Come on, Do It!!!
Deban, it's obviously 100% okay to have an opinion, I don't mind any of the things you said, but don't be so disrespectful in your attitude. You may not like it, but people have been working hard on that song.
I feel Denmark is one fo the few country who delivers something different every year, and still they are criticized for being 'safe'... I don't get it... Leonora was not safe, Rasmussen was not safe, Basim was not safe... and this year, yeah, maybe it is more clichey and safe, but still great...

In a year FULL of ballads, this is one of the few upbeat, positive songs. I can't deny that it's a bit cheesy, but if you listen to the words, I think there is actually some substance to the song. I agree with Lucy that in an arena by the end of the song the crowd would be chanting the chorus with them, and that would have been really cool to hear (especially for them performing it onstage). This just misses out on making my Top 10, but I think this would have definitely ended up on the left hand side of the board when all is said and done.
Ughhhh.. I was sure that this is a song that cannot be hated, but clearly I was wrong. So positive and fun and although it's nothing revolutionary, it is very memorable and pleasant. "Yes" doesn't even seem cheesy and Ben and Tan are very likeable. Amazing job from Denmark and it would have finished at least in the top 20 EASILY. For me, a top 10 song and one of the most fun this year. Love to Denmark!
Beside the lack of chemistry they had on stage, i like the innocence and the vibe of the song, and also the voices of them. This is not a winner but it is a pop feel-good kinda indie song that appeals to most people all across Europe. I give this an 8/10
To be honest I actually like this song. I really like the chorus. Now it’s not the best of the year by any means. I don’t think it would have done well at all. It might have qualified but it would have been a struggle. It’s my number 19 overall. It’s a 7 from me.
I think I read in some post or comment that they wouldn't be back next year because they were just formed for ESC for this year.. that's sad to hear :/ and chemistry is a bit off, but nevertheless, song is cute. :)
Totally agree - they have a cute sound...even i f the chemistry isn't fire. We are really pleased they sent in a video for the Wiwi Jam at Home this year!

Watching these Wiwi Jury videos is becoming kind of tense (even cringey) lately because of Deban's extremely negative attitude to a lot of these songs - like we get it, he thinks ESC 2020 is a weak year for songs (an opinion I disagree with btw, because a lot of these songs are fire - including this one from Ben & Tan), but does he really have to roll his eyes at everyone's opinion? Let's keep the joy in these videos, and replace him with someone else if he's not going to be nice. Angus gave this song a negative review, but he was articulate in expressing why and wasn't rude about it, so I can totally appreciate the diversity in his opinion :) Sorry for the rant, it's a weird time for most of us, so the tense and negative vibe just isn't appreciated

On the other hand, I think that without Deban in these videos, they would just get so boring... I mean, all of them have actually given their scores and why not show different opinions about a song, because it represents the opinion of more fans. I think that there are some people out there who don’t really like the song and feel just like Deban does. Personally, I love Deban and his personality (his shade also) even when we don’t think alike. I’m just expressing my opinion😃 Stay safe💙
I must say, at first I thought the same, but as these videos progress, I’m really living for the ‘good cop, bad cop’ roles both William and Deban are playing this year. Deban Downers reactions are actually HILARIOUS and add a layer of humour to these videos. I also like how they all have very polar opinions to one another and that is why I keep coming back to them. Makes them so much more entertaining an engaging
This is so cheesy BUT somehow I still really like this. I get Ed Sheeran vibes, her voice is amazing. It's catchy! I don't think this would have done that well in the finale but it would have made the finale and could have made the top 15 if they got lucky! It makes me happy and I'm going to give this a 7.0!
Look, I still love the song, but "Humans" would have been that song that took Denmark out of the 'safe' zone and given them the edge to make it in my top 5! Missed opportunity :(
One of my favourites of the year. Ben and Tan are a great duo with amazing personalities and the song is impossible not to chant along to. Also this just makes me smile which is weird considering that I don’t usually like songs like this. A masterpiece ! 🇩🇰
This was my favourite this year behind Sweden. I don't care if its cheesy or amateurish. Hey we all like what we like. That's what I love about Eurovision. Some of the Eurovision songs on my spotify playlist were last and some of the winners I have hated and have never listened to or will do again. 😘😘♥️♥️
ohmy gosh...laughing funny reactions of deban and william and lucy...luv it. kudos. i like the song but i don't think they would have qualify...it's not a strong enough song to qualify among other better songs. however i don't mind it qualifies because they are the only duet (male-female duet) this year. I think 6.5 is a good score.
I kept expecting a drop in this when I first heard it. It sounds *SO* much like a "Wake Me Up" era Avicii song, just with the more electronic stuff taken out. Catchy, but ultimately just okay.
I like this song a lot, think they needed to improve the performance though as they lacked chemistry and were apart for most of the song (social distancing before it was cool)
This is a church song (yes, I used to go to a church that had songs like this). Denmark always brings a smile to my face. It's again an idiot's smile that has no reason to be. It's really sweet and there's not much easier to say than say yes say yes say yes. It's really catchy. I don't think I can be fair with this song tho. It's not too different to Love is forever on all of that.
Omg I’m dying at Deban! Taking a bitchy swig of his water, looking so totally ‘over it’ whilst twirling his hair..... I’m living 😂😂😂 Sadly this song has tumbled down my top 41 quite dramatically from its peak of 21 when I first heard it, all the way down to 37th. It’s become so repetitive and boring, so ‘one note’ and typically Denmark, saccharine ‘jingle jangle‘. It’s the kind of music you’d hear in the background at Poundland as you buy your disinfectant (not to inject yourself with...although this song makes me want to 🙄). It’s far too vanilla. Sorry Denmark.
The post chorus is fine, chorus is really annoying, it seems kinda rushed. Chemistry between the two is bad. It's in my bottom 10. 🇩🇰 gets a 3 P.S. I agree with Deban completely. An average of 6.5, wow. Listen, this is somekind of scam. So many inflated scores, I don't understand. It's so annoying
