This project is dedicated to my 2016 self, who fell in love with the 1964 Eurovision Song Contest right after listening to all songs for the first time - a love that hasn't faded the slightest after almost 8 years and will certainly stay with me for a very long time. 🧡

Please note that, despite any videos (including this one) claiming to be the “full show/transmission”, the FULL audio of the 1964 contest does NOT exist - at least, not publicly. Missing parts include the transition from the end of the voting to the winner declaration, the transition from the winner declaration to Gigliola's reprise and, possibly, part of the audience applause after the UK and Spain's performances. This video has been titled as the “full” show, just like the rest, so as to make it easier for people to find it.
You may use my colorized videos for personal purposes as long as awuga's watermark is visible at all times. For any other kind of purpose, please, contact me first, either though the comments or through email (you may find it in the channel's “About” section).
All media in this video has been colorized by me with the exception of 6 real colour photos (1 Denmark, 2 Austria, 2 Italy, 1 Spain), during which no watermark is shown. All colorized photographs will be available for download in the future.
Huge thanks to Sofía, who showed me the Spanish colour photo (and the Danish colour one just one day before the release of this video), without which I wouldn't have been able to colorize everything as it has been done, and whose encouragement throughout these months has been invaluable; my friend Clau, who has experienced my ESC 1964 fanatism firsthand since the moment it started; people like fuji, ESC Kazakhstan, LewisTheJej23, Nekoko, ßlanty; and other anonymous friends whose artistic advice has been very useful for this project!
This project has been made over the course of three months, during which I have colorized over 300 different pieces of media. I may have spent a little too much amount of time sitting down on the PC, but I believe it was worth it. Despite the many hours of colorization and tedious everything, I've enjoyed every moment of it.
