Eurovision: Songs Norway Almost Sent (1960 - 2023) | Second Places in Norwegian National Finals 

I've read somewhere that Norway decided to do an internal selection in 1991, because none of the songs that were submitted to Melodi Grand Prix didn't have good enough quality and one of those songs was an early version of I Evighet, whose revamped version ended up winning MGP 1996 and placing second at Eurovision.

I keep forgetting about Bombo. That song is pure 2013 lol.

Monument will be the greatest almost-eurovision song for a long time. And is the greatest so far.
