I didn’t realize there were Basque communities in Elko and Boise. Adding to my vacation destinations list now! I grew up dancing with a small Basque troupe in Oklahoma City led by my dad who was French and also taught French. I still have a couple of vinyl 33 1/3 records from the late 1960’s or early 70’s with Arjun Dantza, Hegi, Zozo Dantza, Malik Txikiak, Minuet Beri, and Fandango - Arin-Arin

This is awesome. I have basque blood. My ancestors settled in Sonora AZ. In the 1700. Last name Encinas (oak tree) and i just found out Arizona means the good oak in Basque
