Of all the videos I've seen of people converting old bikes to electric I have to commend you on the best battery enclosure I've seen. As others have said it matches the style perfectly.

Holy crap I want to copy this. We have an old dream too and it seemed like a great bike to do this too. Unfortunately I'll have to learn a few things to make it happen. Thanks for sharing, this was awesome!

I can answer this one for him. The BMS that he used has a built in temperature probe and it will cut the power off if the battery hits the temperature that it is programmed for . Once the temperature goes back to the reset temperature the power will return.
At the top of the front of that battery house you can made some holes, some grill or something nice to allow air to stream through and cool the batteries. @@ThisOldJalopy

The reason I did it that way is so I could use an aftermarket handlebar switch I bought and the OEM key switch as kill switches.
