In this video I make a DIY cosplay Samurai Helmet to go with a facemask from the previous video out of EVA foam. Hopefully this how to video will help with your diy projects or inspire you to start one.

I used EVA foam mats for the Helmet and visor, 5 mm EVA foam for the accents
Tools: scissors/xacto knife, paint brushes, rag, heat gun, dremel 4000 rotary tool, cutting mat, hat makers canvas head
Adhesives: super glue, contact cement, mod podge (to seal project)
Paint: model masters gold enamel, pewter rub and buff, black spray paint

Love the videos your patterns have helped me with some of my builds. For keeping the helmet on and not lifting ive been buying the hard hat inserts. I attach it to the inside and it raises the helmet up just a bit.

Awesome solution for articulation by suspending the neck-plates with dangle rope. So tell me again why everyone spends all that money for "smooth foam" when you really need armor to look like that? Tah Dah~ floor mat pitted? Looks great. It's a prop. Don't wear it.
