This was such a pleasure to watch and listen to. It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen Eva. I love her just being her human self and sharing her passions and joys about her life and her stories.
I actually thought it was refreshing to see a young, fresh faced, not-trying-too-hard interviewer who didn’t feel the need to entertain us… it let Eva shine and be the focus. Not everything needs to be over-the-top Xtra.
Agree. The interviewer showed none of her personality at all. she must have been nervous but Eva could have been speaking to a robot. Totally unengaged.
I felt the same way, but then I reminded myself that she works for Forbes, so she has to be professional and ask questions from a finance/business perspective. She’s not representing an entertainment/celebrity gossip TV show.😊

Very good and I am glad Ryan doesn't even attempt to speak for her because she does it better herself. Yes, I will try the sponges, although I don't do dishes much, but for the first 40 years of my marriage and most of the time before that I did not have a dishwasher. I am around her mom's age, and I can barely walk, however my hubby is just 4 years younger than I am.
Are these two married? I heard "my husband".She is so beautiful, class etc...she is so grounded. She doesn't say " my descend", blah! Blah.. she says that her parents are cubans ,and 5hat she is the first generation in the usa. It pisses me to hear saying" descend" while their fathers and monthers are directly of a nationality or prior nationality just a few years back.

I want to say thank you to this wonderful interviewer. Great questions. Well articulated and well presented. It was interesting to hear Eva’s answers, get to know her better. I like how comfortable she felt with the interviewer too ❤
But it’s not her cleaning empire, she joined later…she isn’t a founder. You can clearly tell by her answers. All she talks about is about how pretty they are, the very superficial parts of the business.
What's going on with Eva? Her face is always side view on the screen in her interviews? There's too much botox. She looks so different now. Her face does not look soft. Her face look frozen and only her mouth and eye balls moves. She has such a natural beauty. I hope she does not do too much where she's unrecognizeable.

Eva Mendes is a world class actress that has held her own next to some of the biggest A-list actors. I always imagine what her career and opportunities she would have currently in the industry. Takes a lot of confidence and knowledge of self to walk away from that. Cheers to her and wishing her much success.

I used to love Eva, but the sponge product really does not sell to me. It sounds like a generic sponge with kind of smart scrubber layer. But in reality you know when to change the sponge in any case. You just see that it is either too dirty, bobbled, worn out, out of shape etc. like it is not anythign special. Instead you could create some superior sponge - that stays fresh for longer, that scrubs better, that you can wash and reuse, that can be composted, that can be eaten 😂. Like the USP has to be special, as this is what celebrities kind of represent - unique, one of a kind, ahead of everyone and everything, setting trends, etc.

The world has become one big marketplace based upon the fact that millions of consumers fall for advertising. Sadly that’s the way the world works. I certainly wouldn’t buy it. I like a bargain and I’m not tricked into thinking the product is anything special. If I need a special cloth/scrubber, I’ll buy it at the bargain store for pennies. 😉😉

This was So heart warming bc Eva seems like such a sweetheart but also so inspiring as an actress and small business owner. I loved the interviewers questions as this is after all a Forbes interview. Will also be ordering the product bc I need it to tell me when it’s time to change to stay hygienic… genius! And bc we women have to stick together and support each other’s businesses (mine is B2B but it’s all relevant).
This is a really bazaar interview. This beautiful woman, married to a movie heart throb, is excited about cleaning products. But hey, bless her heart, she seems sincere.
It makes me wonder if her marriage is on the rocks.. why would she spend the first part of her interview basically trashing her dad and extolling her mom for sounding like a single mom who is desperate for money?! Eva has such a gift being married to a handsome, supportive, millionaire husband who can allow her to not have to work. This interview sounds like she is just looking to pedal products to make money to build a nest egg incase she leaves her husband 😢
I use a glove that I throw away, my boyfriend uses baking soda on greasy dishes and baking soda is not a joke it immediately breaks up greasy dishes. I even drink a tiny bit of baking soda.
