Great one as usual Micheal. I believe that a schedule logically linked and achievable must be the main output for a schedule over the sophistication of resource and cost loading or even the over-detailing of schedule activities which makes it harder to track and control not to mention other factors that you gracefully mentioned like logic manipulation for claim purpose and software malfunctions and complications , which all these factors derive the schedule from its real purpose which is “ensure smooth delivery of project objectives”.
