Same here.. but that's because I can never do that with our fridge. It keeps on giving an annoying beep sound whenever we open it for more than a minute

Why is it not Emery but Evan who says "What's up, Jessica" to their mum? Perhaps that's becoz the youngest is always the naughtiest? And there's still a bit of "conscience" deep down Emery's heart :P
List of bad stuff they did: 1. Untidy their appearance (Shirt not tucked in and scruffy hair) 2. Eat Nutella with your fingers from the jar (Even if you haven't clean it) 3. Adding a minus to his test he shouldn't changed. (I don't know what it means to put a minus) 4. Not replace the toilet paper 5. Dump lego pieces all over the floor for someone to step on 6. Leave the fridge door open and let the room temperature drop cold 7. Littering a lollipop stick on the floor (Possible misbehaving) 8. Lastly, for calling their own mother by her first name.
A- is a lower grade than A and there's a stereotype that Asian families expect top marks from their kids. Also I think the issue with leaving the fridge door open is that it wastes electricity (stereotype: Asian people are very frugal). It'd have to be a pretty powerful fridge to noticeably cool their (huge) kitchen.
the real reason for the fridge is not to get the room temperature cold. it's about letting the cold air out thus the fridge work more which leads to higher electricity bill.. cause let's be honest Asians are used to their house being cold from never turning the heat on
actually, leaving the fridge open can heat up the room. the fridge will try to make to room colder, using more power, which releases heat much faster than the fridge will cool the room
If you look closely, in the fridge is all the Asian stuff. Fruit and veg in jars. Random sauces and extracts. There's so much attention to detail....well except or shoes in the house and speaking English
