Mobley top 3 defensive player voting last year and cavs have the best defensive rating last year. It’s known that mobley is a defensive monster who is an elite shot blocker and at the same time he has the lateral quickness to be an elite perimeter defender. He was super effective game 2 because he contributed immensely on the offensive end. If he can be that 20-22pt scorer efficient and fearlessly attacking and taking those midrange shots then he will be that elite two way player at that allstar level. Cavs will give the Celtics so much problems if this evan mobley shows up every night.

@@BMoreCory yes! As a cavs fan, mitchell robinson made evan look like a little boy. One of the reasons the knicks smoked the cavs last year. Robinson was grabbing every damn rebound. He got so many offensive rebounds it was just became funny.

It’s more about the Cavs and the coaches letting him shoot. 12 shots per game average is beyond ridiculous & everyone of the “coaches “ who hand their hand in on that would be fired. Should’ve ax’ed JB at the proper time they could’ve picked up Ime Udoka. It’s unbelievable how incompetent the Cavs organization is as a whole. They waited too long making moves for coaching , won’t play proper ball , & won’t make moves or adjustments when needed. They have a roster rn they could make moves to create a REALLY REALLY good team. There’s absolutely no reason for a 100$ million should be dropped on anyone in the front court other than Mobley. Instead of making the move on Allen for someone Like Ingram , DeMar, Lavine etc etc they’re going to waste another year of this teams potential. Offense should start and flow through Allen & Mobley like Denver does w Jokic if they’re not going to trade Allen. That way both spida and Darius can move off the ball & create more problems than just constantly pounding the P&R. they easily beat the Knicks in playoffs last year if they had a better coach. They just had to bench Allen & run the offense like this video. Instead they do nothing like always and continue to lose.

They didn't expose it. That's been Boston's their biggest weakness all season. The league emohasizes the three-point shot, so the paint area isn't used often in order to keep the floor spaced out. The Celtics don't have offensive principles nor an offensive system. They play accidental basketball.They're camped out on the three-point line. They occasionally throw out some offenseive sets here and there. However, they have no set offense. Most teams don't operate out the paint in today's NBA. If the Celtics attacked the paint more, that would help their offense in the half court when their three-point shooting is off.

Evan mobley is overrated. His lateral movement is slow, his footwork on offense is awkward and looks like he's moving in slow motion. He's still weak when it comes to his ability to get to his spots. He doesn't have any offensive moves.
