Bruh drafting a center is a big risk. It's a huge hit or miss. In the last decade, there are only 3 centers lottery picks who's career really panned out (AD, Kat, and embiid). Centres like Ayton, bagley, and wiseman are good lottery players. They were also very hyped back then. But it's stupid to look back and say they're worth drafting over luka, trae, and lamelo ball who are all franchise cornerstones now. Drafting mobley over the jalens would be no different.

@@nocap6000 neither Wiseman nor Bagley showed the same level of defence that Mobley has coming out of college. And when i say a green type player I just mean a great scorer that is a guard. But last year Anthony Edwards was drafted and is a lot like Jalen green. They are both athletic finishers that have a good bag and show promise on the defensive end.

You don't always get to draft leaders. Very few PF were leaders. Kevin Garnett. Tim Duncan. Mobley is more skilled than Tim Duncan. Duncan couldn't bring the ball up the floor and shoot 3s.

@Hugh Mungus maybe KG could have shot 3's if he tried. We'll never know. We do know that Mobley can shoot 3's. I don't think KG is top 10 of all time, probably top 20. Not saying Mobley will be that good, just saying that in terms of physical tools and skill set at the same age, KG is a decent comparison..Mobley has a chance to be special.

See the issue was, we were getting “clapped” on defense because of defensive adjustments. We had 2 big men in Kelly and Wood playing most the time, this slowed the pace, and allowed for a guard to be guarded by Wood or Kelly 90% of the time. In today’s game, us taking Mobley would only prove that point MORE. we need to speed up the pace, going with Jalen green would compliment this so much.

@@toxicrain5295 mobleys footwork is nothing special, and a lot of his skill sets, (such as his hook) won’t work nearly as effective on the next level. Mobley is still a raw prospect, and with the rockets already having olynyk, Tate and Wood, I just don’t see the fit with having Mobley alongside Wood. Especially considering how much faster the game is getting in the modern nba. The pace would slow down to shambles, and spacing would be a mess. Not to mention defensive adjustments…
