Evan Roos has been in sublime form throughout the 2021 season and really banged on the door for Springbok selection. I'm not really sure why he was not selected but it would be hard to leave him out in 2022 if he keeps on performing like he did last season.
Evan is just a mountain of a man who loves to carry the ball, and boy is he good with that! He really has elite size and is a tremendous athlete. I really love his work rate and solidified himself as the Stormers primary ball carrier. He's also good on defence where he has some huge hits but he also has a knack to get turnovers from the breakdown, which is not something you always see with guys his size.
I really think he's a Springbok in the making and won't be surprised if he's one of the standout players in the URC this year.
