Got to meet Evan when he played along with Tommy Emmanuel at the Lyric theater for Woodsongs Old time Radio Hour, Lexington KY,several years ago, I think around 2014 or thereabouts. Super talented kid and genuine, talked to him and his dad for a bit that evening after the show. Never thought we'd be having to enjoy his work without him here so soon. God bless him for sharing his talent with us all and I pray we'll see him again in Heaven, sharing his gift up there as well.
Wow I’m 59 and I’ve just started to play. I think I just witnessed a guitar angel he plays with such ease and grace. Thank you for sharing. Truly too good for this world.God what a gift
Wow this guy is totally great I wish I could have seen him in person I lost my nephew Bill Mace III from Memphis March 7 maybe they're playing together in Heaven And god bless his family!!!!
Didn't know him personally but I watched him at the bluegrass festival numerous times at Vincennes University, such a talented individual, gone way too soon.
@@Adam-oc8cw yea true, I mastered the chords and a few classic intros and that was as far as my training went. Still managed rhythm guitar in a band for seven years just gone. Luckily I found out my thing was drums, played in bands for 15 years with not a single lesson or real practice. . I'm a firm believer you can either do stuff or not. Singing for example.
@@Adam-oc8cw oh yes sorry the young guy has insane ability and talent. I was just asking a question out loud. Some people can do art some people can't, some poetry some not, sculpture etc. Please distance any attachment with the obviously brilliant guitar player in the video, it was a retrospective view from on behalf, I wasn't asking "how come he is so talented here". Different strokes for different folks, horses for courses.
