What I love about this fight was that no dancing around a lot avoiding punches, both went head to head, plus the respect both had for each other very apparent. Foreman didn't win the fight but he got everybody's respect after this, it wasn't just a side show anymore, Foreman proved to everybody what he still had

The 70s Heavyweights were made out of different stuff. They are, by far, the single greatest generation of heavyweights to have ever lived. Muhammad Ali. Kenny Norton. Smokin Joe. Big George. Jerry Quarry. Earnie Shavers. Ronny Lyle. Jimmy Young. Earnie Terrel. The single most solid generation of champions, opposition and contenders in heavyweight boxing history. Almost every boxer after the golden age of heavyweights could simply not compete with these men. Perhaps the only ones who would stand a reasonable chance at becoming champion would be Bowe, Lewis, Usyk, and Fury. All the rest would honestly be destroyed with very little competition.

@@horse-4598 The fight was a bit closer than you're giving it credit for. One wrong move could have caused the fight to go another way. Both these guys were incredible. I'm very happy that these 2 and Mike Tyson have all remained healthy, and are super humble. After the insane amount of fights for them to be as healthy they are now shows what legends they are.

@@bomberbee8236 Holyfield didn’t need to be in the heavyweight division. That hurts to say, but it’s very true. He was a cruiserweight in heavyweight trunks. He would’ve EASILY destroyed any cruiserweight without AAAANY competition. But when it came to brawling with the heavyweights, he was a lot like Floyd Patterson and Rocky Marciano; all three of them of course had tremendous careers and are all greats in their own respect, but their natural weight undeniably had a huge impact on their lives.

Prime George Foreman used to be a BRILLIANT ring cutter, as displayed in the Frazier & Norton fights. But 40 year old Foreman just didn’t have that same speed. It’s almost universally accepted that a prime George Foreman would’ve swept Morrison & Holyfield easily: just look at the way Foreman LUNGES after Kenny Norton in round 2 of their bout in his prime. That guy was a MONSTER. Those leaping uppercuts & hooks would’ve sent Morrison & Holyfield to the floor.

Foreman would have destroyed Tyson holyfield and everyone else in his Era I still believe they put something in his water during the Ali fight which slowed him down and made him sluggish George was the greatest

I was an Evander fan only cause home town, but George looked like a brick wall. He didn't budge when he took some serious hits to the jaw while if that were Holy field, his jaw woulda shattered.

I don't care how old they both were. The Warrior Holyfield beat Foreman. It was great fight. People don't make excuses. George still tough at the Older age. It was good win for hollyfield. Holyfield so good Mike tyson had to bite part of his ear off . Mike even knew how good he was.

Foreman was a walking, talking brick wall. Those punches he took from Holyfield for 12 rounds would have killed the average heavyweight and to think George was 42 years old at the time. Truly unbelievable!

Odpadavám od úžasu 😮 toto boli skutoční páni boxeristi 👍 takyto nádherný box ťažkej váhy už neuvidíme nikdy. Box so všetkým čo k tomu patrí. Musel to byť neskutočný zážitok pre divákov. Dnes sa to už bohužiaľ povedať nedá.

What a fight. Foreman is a true legend. Went toe to toe with 2 generations. Holyfield would stand a chance if he fought him at 29 same age as him. I guess the previous generations are always tougher than the new ones. Society is gettin softer as time passes.
