Watch as Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane completes his second natural hat trick of the playoffs, over a six-minute span in the second period against the Calgary Flames.
Kane has been a great addition to the Oilers. Finally, McDavid has a winger who can keep up with him. Look at Kane skate up the ice with McDavid on his 3rd goal. Speed.
When Evander Kane is on his game he can do it all. 30 goal scorer and he accumulates 150 penalty minutes with all his fights. Kane is the last of a dying breed.
@@RedroomStudios look at the commentary they give him no credit even on the first or 3rd goals. It's all about the patience and precision of teammates passes. He would have to kidnap Mcdavid to get MVP at this point.
@@kreed82 it’s all good. It takes a team. He’s part of it. Without the other 2 big guns none of them are there. He’s playing amazing !!! Hope they re-sign him. He’s a great fit !!!
@@jamiesucie2685 his talent was never in question, it was whether or not his talent made up for his off ice issues and his "toxicity" in the locker room.
Hopefully Kane will realize he has a life changing opportunity to play with McDavid a couple more years, take whatever deal the offer him and stay completely out of trouble.
@@evictioncarpentry2628 Exactly he's broke. So if he has the option he'll probably sign in the states to pay less income tax unless the Oilers give him a nice offer.
@@timsimtv they're winning games something they haven't done since 2017 I consider that a win even if we lose second round it keeps McDavid in edmonton Longer as he knows they're closer and closer
Bro Im not even lying Jake Oettinger has probably the best future in the NHL. Those saves in game 7 were insane. Stars deserved more than the Calgary Lames. Atleast we got revenge for you guys🥳
I don't care what anyone says. Kane needed the oilers and the oilers needed kane. Always been a skilled player but playing along side the players he has now he's one of the highest scoring players in the league( when healthy) and he brings alot to the table for the oilers. Ppl forget the guy can legit fight to. What a pickup for the oilers I must say
I was at this game and the building was electrifying. Kane was also working on his backhand before in the warm ups and was the last one to leave the ice.. he was definitely ready for this game.
And everyone was worried about Kane’s attitude. His new attitude is “Crush you enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the Flames fans. I mean women.”
@@bjarczyk there is a slight difference between someone playing on a 1year contract who has been on multiple teams as oppose to a core player in the middle of a 3year contract.
McDavid is the key to Kane's success. Without McDavid's passing skills and drawing defenses away from other players, Kane would most likely not have the same opportunities. Fortunately he is skilled enough to take advantage of those opportunities.
You have the good kane and i hope he Stays that way. But trash kane showed up for 2 teams so far after a Good start at each. Maybe 3rd time is a charm. Or maybe he gets caught gambling in nhl and banned. Worth the risk if he stays happy
Good for him for doing well again. Wasn't a fan of his off ice stuff but he is a good hockey player and believe he deserves a second chance. Hopefully he keeps his nose clean and focuses on hockey.
This biggest improvement of the Oilers this year over last year is Evander Kane. He adds so much that was missing last season. A combination of skill, toughness, speed and playoff experience makes the Oilers a much more dangerous team this year.
When he's on he's on but he can be very streaky. And I think we are seeing a guy thats hungry to get a contract. Once he's well fed there might be issues. I don't see any lockeroom leaders on EDM. So if he slips in to a lull it could be detrimental.
I would have put money on his downward spiral continuing in Edmonton. I hope is off ice world is looking as good as his on ice one is, maybe a change of scenery is what he needed
We were all super concerned about bringing Kane to our city but damn the guy is breaking records and he truly filled in the gaps we weren’t succeeding at before!
0:59 Tkachuk glides after Kane instead of backchecking. Maybe he thought he did enough in Game 1 lol. Nice little rivalry going on with Kane - I'd like to see them throw down the gloves.
No way Kane leaves Edmonton. They'll bend over backwards to sign him. Besides, why wouldn't he want to stay and win a few cups with the best player in the world?
@@dewman7477 I'm bullish on the Oilers. The foundation is there. Might not be this year, although I believe they can go all the way. But certainly with a couple tweaks they'll be lifting Lord Stanley within the next few years I think.
Kane was exactly the same player on the Sharks hes just on a much better team now. Kanes ex wife took a shot at the NHL and the Oilers for taking his side. If she couldnt prove her hit her or bet on sharks games like she claimed it is hard to take her seriously.
It's a team sport but it's all McDavid the way he makes the other players look slow in everything helps his team get open amazing he is the best player on the planet i think of all time in skills raw talent. He might not score as many goals as great one Gretzky but he is better all around for sure and so much fun to watch awesome
Kane is a free agent at the end of the season, will he sign with the Oil or move on for a bigger paycheck and likely less success elsewhere. I hope he understands lightning never strikes the same place twice, and he has lightning in a bottle right here.
@@kreed82 Quit playing the race card dude, ffs the league goes out of their way to praise/promote black players and broadcasters. Ever think maybe Kane has been a bit toxic in his career and deserves some ridicule? You sound like a conspiracy theorist
@@englishmuffin5274you lost me at race card. That's a term coined by folk of a certain kind of privilege who can't see the forest for the trees. Players like Healey and Patrick Kane actually took lives and still didn't receive the backlash Evander has. And you want to argue this has being solely a Evander Kane problem? It's a societal problem numnuts
Koskinens contract is over next year. Give Kane all the money from that and sign skinner as a backup till smith retires. Then deal with the goaltending situation with whatever cap space you have left
