I've been a huge fan of Emma going back to Sick Puppies early days. She's an amazing bass player (and actually has to dial it back a bit to sit in the pocket for Ev). Over the years with SP, she'd started to sing more and more, and her vocals have been a really nice addition to Ev.

I like that Amy has made enough peace with the male vocals on this song to bring them back when an opportunity to have someone like Jacoby do them comes up. For those who don't know, she never wanted that on the song and her former label said "add a male vocalist or we won't release the song." So once she was free of the label she cut that from the chorus and did the bridge herself. I'm not sure if this is actually the first time she's brought that back in live since then, but it's definitely quite rare.

Seeing Amy perform this song live is honestly a wild experience, after all these years she still does it SO well. It will genuinely be one of my most memorable experiences forever ❤
@@Jim-Bob-Billy-Joe-Johnson Don't know how many concerts you've seen, but sooooooo many groups just go through the motions playing their biggest hits cuz they're sick of playing them so much and especially the vocals. I didn't see anyone holding back at all, instead they rocked it as if it was a new song. Only way it would have been better is to have Jacoby on the whole thing.
I wasn't a child Carolina but yeah her vocals are still crisp and she can hit and hold those notes even with all the changes she has lost not one bit of her talent. I do admit liking the dichotomy of the male voice with hers so I was STOKED when Jacoby dropped in!
Holy fuck the nostalgia!!!! Jacoby absolutely crushed it and him and Amy sounded perfect together. Their version together needs to be recorded and re-released. His screaming is just incredible!!
The real MVP here is not Jacoby or Will (drummer) or Amy, but the cameraman and lighting technicians. I mean they switch camera angles and control the lighting flawlessly!
This is amazing. In spite of it, it breaks my heart the facct that I've always expecting to see a collaboration between Amy/Evanescence and Linkin Park (Chester and Mike) for this song, it breaks my heart that it won't happen.
I know Amy wasn't a huge fan of the producer/label interference with the addition of the male vocals on this song. But I did enjoy hearing Jacoby singing with her. I wish with my whole heart for them to do an actual song together.

I missed male vocal in chorus but when Jacoby'd appeared and they made it together... it literrally gave good goosebumps. I was like Anton Ego from "Ratatouille" that's been brought back in childhood when I first time heard this masterpiece.

Непонятно, где здесь везет Эми. Она задыхается, местами в ноты не попадает. В первом куплете и в первом припеве почти нет последних слов, окончание которых она бы не "съела"

@@gaviera4657 no geral o tom da voz continua com a qualidade de sempre, porem em algumas partes ela deu umas deslizadas mesmo, o que é normal, ao vivo é assim mesmo
