Remember what almost every record label was telling EV in the beginning. If you want to be a band get a male lead singer and lose the piano. It's never going to work. Nice to see Amy proved them wrong. She looked to be having a blast doing this one. Amy at her piano is solid gold.
Amy makes EV. I don't think they would have that umph without her voice, passion & talent. So I agree with you. I'm glad she shut them the hell up! I love me some Amy Lee!
+jerry katzman Amy was in top form, and I think people need to understand, this is meant literally! This was the 6th Evanescene show I have seen and I have never seen vocals like this live before from ANYONE! That was unbelievable! She was singing as if her life depended on it!
+Amelia Martinez 'Cause she's Amy freaking Lee! she is absolutely amazing. I would have given ANYTHING to be at this concert. Holy crap she killed it and the band sounded AMAZING. Jen is a WONDERFUL addition, especially since she can sing Amy's backup vocals, quite well, might I add. I'll always miss Terry, but I am thankful for the new addition. She's a bad-ass. They both are.
“DON'T FUCKING HOLD YOUR PHONES ABOVE YOUR HEAD. DON'T BE A FUCKING ASSHOLE” Preachhh⚡️⚡️ Thanks for capturing this. She’s such kindred spirit that it makes me feel myself again. That’s magic, how so many of us can know that same feeling, having iand hearing that someone gets it.
+Saoirse Kavanagh I agree with you. I listened to Evanescence when I was younger then I stopped (don't know why) and now I'm comming back to listening them and I see this. I am so proud!
SO FUCKIN EXCITING! THEY WERE EXPLODING SO MUCH ENERGY! I Love this new era for the band, they really look like they were having the best time ever, very energetic, more than ever! Jen Majura fits so well on stage with them, she does looks like an evfan playing her dream come true.
+Jeremy S. Yes, It happened to me when they came to Mexico in 2012, it was better than in 2007, and 2007 was better than 2003. And everytime they add more songs, in the first tour they used to play 14 songs, on 2007, 16, in 2012 18 songs, now they are reaching 20 songs per concert. It's amazing her lungs resistance, and the way she delivers everything with such an emotions!
+J.Palma Amy is always putting so much energy in every concert you see in RU-vid, ie. She sing better than ever before because she is very professional and work hard with her voice and care her main instrument. I feel so happy for being a Evanescence fan, because I know she is the boss of the band and she knows how to make Evanescence works well on stage and out of the stage really professional with truly emotions. She seems vulnerable singing these songs and shows everybody her heart. That's why I love this band more than other bands!
This concert was so good. Thanks for recording! (And seriously, even in the front row there were a few people who filmed the entire thing with their shitty smartphone cameras instead of enjoying themselves... Why in hell. It was sad.)
+Minnie Phoenix This was my 6th Evanescence show and Amy never has sounded better! I was blown away. 3rd row center in Mezzanine had perfect sound and yeah, I didn't take out my phone the entire time!
Damn! It was actually my 1st time seeing them live, since I used to live in an area they never toured in x_x So worth the wait though. They were breathtaking. And same, I only took it out to snap a few pictures and that's it, it was just too good.
+Minnie Phoenix Every tour has it;s own flavor but something was uniquely special about this show for me. I met Amy after! I told her, "Amy, your voice was perfect tonight!" and her response, "Thanks, I had fun!" haha
I know what you mean. She's such a sweetheart. I wanted to stay after too, but had a few hiccups and couldn't do it, but next time I will try to meet them for sure haha.
I know that Amy is making music for children right now, and the soundtrack she made for a new movie (Voice from the Stone) will be release one day. I hope now a new Evanescence album...
PrOpoRa8r1Br0 They have a new label now. I think you are talking about their former label. I think everything depends on Amy. She had to leave to raise her baby and produce an album for her son. She said she will now make music for grownups, but nobody knows if it means an Evanescene or a solo album...
+danielleNJ They weren't selling t-shirts with "3 gig warm up to their Ozzfest appearance" on them. But they were selling shirts that said "Evanescence Winter Tour" on them. Do you ever get sick of being wrong? This is the second video you've commented on where you attempted to refute something I posted but you were incorrect.
