Official HD music video for “My Immortal,” taken from the band’s multi-platinum debut Fallen.
Evanescence are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Fallen with a series of special reissues via Craft Recordings.

Available on Deluxe 2-LP, 2-CD, and Digital - as well as a Super Deluxe Edition collector’s box set - Fallen (20th Anniversary Edition) offers newly remastered audio, including the album’s singles “My Immortal,” “Going Under,” “Everybody’s Fool,” and “Bring Me To Life.” The expanded set also includes a trove of bonus material - ten tracks in all - comprising previously-unreleased demos and live recordings plus a selection of rare B-sides. Alongside reimagined artwork, all physical formats will include previously-unseen photos from the era, plus a handwritten foreword by Amy Lee, who oversaw all aspects of the reissue. The Deluxe vinyl, CD and digital configurations are out now.
Available exclusively at Evanescence.com is the Super Deluxe Box Set, arriving February, 2024. Housed in a collectible shadow box-style package (inspired by Amy’s songwriting journal cover art), this limited edition includes all of the above-mentioned music as part of a 2-LP set (featuring a Black & Silver blend vinyl) plus a bonus cassette of previously unreleased demos and voice notes which is exclusive to this box set. Adding additional insight into the album is an expansive book which features new track-by-track notes from Lee, while a zoetropic turntable slipmat, rare photo prints, and enamel pin set round out the collection.

Never would’ve known how much influence Evanescence would have in this world till this day. I remember back then in 2003 while I was riding in the back seat of my mom's car she played their whole CD album. Every time she played this song, it always made me cry but in a way that touched my heart. Even when I didn’t fully understand complex words, I could tell when something was sad just by the impact of the song. Now that I’m fully grown, hearing the lyrics just added more emotion to it and honestly made me tear up. Damn, this song is so good. Glad that one of the most iconic rock bands is from my hometown as well, Little Rock, AR aka the 501.

John Rodgers They took a break a while ago because Amy started her family, but the group got back together a few years ago and started making new music again. You just gotta look for it though since they're not mainstream anymore, because now radio stations are filled with nothing but mumble rap and the same 10 other songs on repeat.

The most beautiful and truthful song. I lost my mother two months ago today, to cancer at the age of 54. She was a single mother up until I was 18. She was the strongest, the most loving and devoted mother, and the only parent I needed growing up. I feel her, I miss her terribly. I don't think my heart will ever not be scarred, but she'll always be my inspiration, and my reason to keep going in this life. Mam, I love you dearly and forever, after all of your tribulations and sacrifices, I hope you're at rest now, and I will see you again one day ❤

I was a teenager when this song came out... Growing up in the hood you're only exposed to certain genres like hip hop and r&b but I remember this song literally stopping me in my tracks... I was always very eclectic i loved it back than... I lost my Son last year and this song again found me and stopped me in my tracks. It breaks your heart yet puts it back together again... It's Simply Brilliant... Astounding.

The meaning of this song lies in a person who lost someone so close to her that he was her entire life. Her world. Her emotional pillow. She depended on him for her sanity and even her life itself was never the same since losing him. Even after he has gone, he remains such a important part of her world that time can never erase the memories of the one she thinks off. She recalls holding his hand through all of the years and he stills haunts her long after he’s gone. As the song progressed she realizes and comes to terms he would never really leave as a huge chuck of her life and memories consisted of him. To forget this person would be to forget her own life and happiness she has shared with this man.

Jess Charlotta I totally sympathize with you. I have lost my own grandparents when they died and i felt so much grief knowing I will never see them again. The song also reminds me if the fact that as a young person I will outlive most of the people I ever know when I was born. It haunts me knowing that one by one they will be taken from me. I wish the earth and universe has no more death and suffering, yet a part of me knows that being mortal only makes life itself so much more precious and that we should treasure each moment with the people we love.

Why i a still here?😢 Goosebumps number, and shed some tears. We were together for 20 years, we were young again, we got married in 2011. 2 daughters 16 and 20 unfortunately I hardly see them. As I pass by this song in my Recommended playlist. It brings me right back to the year it was released. I was maybe 15 years young & my father raised me on his own whom I greatly cared for & lost only 2 years later at 17 years young as he was killed by medical negligence...We always clashed over the music he listened to which I never wanted to hear as a young "rebellious"teenager.. And likewise, I found a love for rock & metal back then.. Which he was always telling me to turn down or he didn't want to hear... And then I bought the Evanescence album after "Bring me to Life" came out.. And this song played in his truck before it came out on the radio.. This song, we both loved, help bring us together and break that barrier of miscommunication we had sometimes with eachother.. We played it all the time after that day whenever we were on a ride.. And he would tell everyone to be quiet as he embraced every chord so masterfully written within it.. We can never let music like this die with our generation..it must be passed on to those under us.. I miss you father, if only... You were "immortal", Id play it back, just one more time.. For old times sake..I shall see you again, someday❤️🙏

I lost my dad.. I was 13 yrs old when this song came out and my dad died In 2023 my only man that knew me and loved my kids and the only man I looked up to is gone. But he died in a weird way. He was only 53 years old. He was diagnosed with cancer 8 months before and chemo stated and then he died it was traumatic because I spent his last week with him at the hospital and the way he breathed and snored I can still hear it at night and it wakes me up with panic attacks. So it’s so hard to myself that he’s gone.
