I saw the first my hero academia movie and two lesbians dressed like deku and todoroki started making out and its exactly what you think they look like
A superstar, a one of a kind talent. Someone who adds the upmost level of not only acting talent but comedic timing to Mega64, a feminine touch that is direly needed, a masculine energy that none of the others can, a hunters scent where the prey is good art, a history teacher who teaches her class the subject of herself cause everything she does is a future classic. She is alpha, she is omega.
В 00 годах в России выходил журнал " игромания" и с журналом шёл dvd с демками, патчами , анонсами новых игр и там часто публиковали ваши ролики . Оттуда и узнал о вас , ребята
Not to be a Garrett caffeine enabler, but coffee is actually very good for the liver and kidneys and has actually been shown to lower the risk of kidney stones. Basically fear the palpitations not the stones brother.
22:42 Man, I'm 40, I've played guitar and bass since I was 13. I couldn't _play you 5 songs_ if put on the spot, let alone name 'em. My brain just doesn't work that way any more unless it's a locked in memory or a recent memory... because everything else I can just Google. Same goes with learning new skills.
I watched all of eva for the first time just to see end of evangelion in theaters and man rocco really hit the nail on the head about the ending making it worth the price of admission. My theater was dead silent when the lights immediately came up aside from awkward chuckling to ease the tension, so cool to be able to experience the ending in this fashion it was wild haha
That's really terrible... I was dreading the possibility of such immaturity with my showing, but thankfully got a solid crowd. Sorry you got all the shitbags for your theater experience :(
Not a complaint, but noticed this a few times. Whenever there is a guest on th podcast you all don't provide links to to support them here on youtube or find their other works. Just wanting to support and check out the extended Mega64 cast and crew's stuff.
My showing had two dudes whispering at every important scene. They giggled at the self relief. It was over as soon as it began. They also felt that it was fine to talk at full volume during the action scenes. But all of the hatred I felt for my fellow man played into the narrative of eva. I learned to accept my fellow weebs.
Re: gatekeeping, I am a huge space nerd, so I have a few NASA hats, tshirts, etc that I've bought from gift shops. Just before the pandemic, I'm in an Apple Store, making chitchat with another customer while we're waiting for hardware support. He was wearing a Marines shift (but it was fairly low key) but he totally looked ex mil. And at some point he asks if I work for NASA looking at my hat. And I felt like he was accusing me of stolen valor when I said no, I work at the university down the street. Conversation died right there.
I have a spinal injury that has kept me from going to the movies for nearly 5 years. I'm seeing End of Evangelion in theaters tomorrow night, come hell or high pain levels. God I hate those recliners that are in every theater now.
@@Hoju3942 That's great, I'm glad it didn't stop you! Honestly, as long as you aren't still in pain, I think getting out of End of Evangelion and just being in agonizing pain, that's pretty aesthetic. That's definitely the vibe. I think you got the full experience really :P
@@kal2045 Yeah, the whole "not having a body and just living in infinite anonymous bliss" thing sounds pretty fuckin' good when you have bones that rub together that shouldn't.
Used to have 6 cups of coffee a day until I got my adhd diagnoses and got medicated. Didn’t need coffee after that. I have my morning cup and I’m done.
I’ll credit the subs with making certain plot points very clear, but I hate that I didn’t get to hear the classic dub on the big screen. Spike Spencer’s performance as Shinji RIGHT before 3rd Impact happens is fantastic.
1:04:42 - The (hopefully) final update on the Amazon gift card scam Glad it was resolved and Garrett finally was able to get his Olympic Boardgames prize. Bookmarking this after showing my parents. They mentioned they'd read an article about people being scammed with gift cards, so I scanned through the podcast & showed them. PS. My mum liked Garrett's "Pokemon jacket".
Proud of ya Garret, just cut my coffee in half too. Helps I haven’t smoked any weed for a week(chronic illness based use not cause I’m a buffalo soldier) also Shawn enjoy boarding man, Bear Mtn was my dream vacation as a young lad, kids are lucky to half some of the best snowboard parks in the world nearby!
I totally get not connecting with the rebuilds becuase theres technically less of those quiet interpersonal character moments, but then you remember that entire like 30 minute Rei gardening sequence, or when shinji goes back to his dad and basically just wanders around being lonely and gay and learning piano from Kuwaru
I have a a pair of Angry Beavers (Norbert and Daggett) flocked funko pops, and I absolutely love them! They have eyelids and eyebrows, so the eyes don't look weird at all.
Omg I love Sara's speaking voice. Honestly I assumed she was like one of the English voice actors for Misato because she sounds a lot like her, and that perhaps that was how you guys met her. Is she not a voice actor?!
I actually think it does age well. Not editing a professional friend out of a project for the world’s smallest PR victory will always age well. What Jirard did was bad and incompetent. But they ended up donating the money. As they should have from the start. He stepped down from the charity and will no longer raise funds, as he should, because he’s lost trust. His channel is hemorrhaging views. At a certain point, enough is enough. He’s doing the right things. He’s taking a well deserved reputation hit. Does he have to lose his friends, too?
i was completely dreading the audience when i went to see it, especially when before the movie a bunch of noisy guys in suits and ties for The Bit came in, but the audience was super quiet and respectful. only noises were some brief "awww"s at baby Shinji on the playground and the live action cat. I think someone was quietly singing along to THANATOS during the credits but I'm not 100% sure, but honestly doing that during the credits is probably a lot less disruptive than in the middle of Third Impact like the komm susser tod guy. incredible experience all in all
Your new rivals? That's easy! The guys over at Continue! I'd LOVE to see you guys somehow make a skit together, even just once. It would be so rad, if not totally surreal.
Shawn is a certified vacation influencer, when he talked about the Lost tour on the podcast years ago it gave me the impetus to book one when I visited Oahu.. Now maybe I’ll try snowboarding for the first time.
Your eva theater screening story is pretty much the reason why I will never go to an anime screening in the place where I live. In my country, the weeb community is obnoxious af, and I won't let myself being surrounded by these type of people in a room.
I took my roommate to see End of Eva in the theater because he knows literally nothing about Eva and I thought itd be funny. I decided 100% cold wouldnt be fair so genuinely, the only context I gave him was the first Eva in Five Minutes video lol
You guys are buddies with Justin "two chairs" Silverman? Ouch! And that Jirard clip in your trailer, did you somehow miss that controversy about him being a sketchy scumbag liar?
I managed to catch the original upload of this since i guess it gets automatically uploaded as soon as the stream goes down or something. didnt get the chance to watch all of it because when i came back to it, it was already removed. it still had the preshow stuff intact too.
