I spent $990 for my Evanix .22 from New England Airguns last year. I’ve sent it in twice for repair and they could never fully fix the air leak. One of the tanks is leaking because it always leaks down to about 180 bar and holds there. It leaked from the get go and they refused to replace it, because Evanix won’t send a replacement. Evanix requires their resellers to try and repair the gun, they don’t replace it. So basically I have an impaired gun. Thanks Evanix. I’ve never had such poor service. I won’t buy from them again.

Evanix is famous for leaking and even more famous for ignoring their warranty. They are a Korean company which uses cheap Chinese parts. Avoid Evanix.

Very nice, I have been eagerly anticipating this. Honestly though, at 540fps, with those pellets, it's less than 30fpe. The Huben GK1 at .25 with a 33gr pellet nearly doubles the fpe and allows more rounds as well. I will have to see a few more reviews, but it looks like Evanix just missed the target in this competition. I hope to see the inevitable comparison videos shortly. But as it stands, looks like I will be getting the Huben GK1 in .25 for me and my girl.

I really like this pistol. It has an old school look. I like the 30cal option. It's more than powerful enough for self defense. Most gun fights are around 10ft, not 10 yards. It's deadly at that distance. I also like the Huben. I'll purchase either one that's in stock and purchase the other one next.

The hammer springs and valves can be adjusted... we will be testing the 30 cal valves in the 25s to see about power increase also. Adjusting the hammer spring may effect the semi auto function however.

This is a nice .30 air pistol! BUT the Huben GK1 will always win in terms of power, due to its clever hammerless system. NOT taking into account the sheer capacity of 19 rounds in .22 ._. And the valve of the evanix viper series tends to wear out over time (the small black plastic ring) leading to air leakage :O

Those are the only guns I own other than a couple break barrels. The two of them actually make for a great hunting setup! I use the AEA HP Max .357 as my main hunting rifle and my Huben GK1 .25 if it needs to be shot again. I made a shoulder holster for my GK1 and it works awesome!

Don't get caught up in a power trip regarding whether one gun or another is more powerful. Decide how much power you need and buy the best airgun suited for the purpose. Too much power is a waste of money. Not having enough power is also a waste of money.

What country is the Gk1 made in? I know that this Viper is made in South Korea. Owning them both i will till you that once tuned properly the .30 is very consistent & shoots straight as an arrow. Is there a 30 caliber GK1? What’s the weight in grain to the projectile? Anyone with any understanding of ballistics understands that the lighter the projectile the higher the muzzle that’s possible from a given amount of force. @@lmichaellangobarda7906 We have the numbers. It's simple math. The GK1 .25 has more than double the power of the Viper .30. Even the GK1 .22 is more powerful.
