Interesting pairing and I’m actually intrigued as to how the rhythms mesh fairly well. However, I can’t help but notice the out-of-tune sounding pairing like they are sang in different keys from the introduction of the vocals. Perhaps you might want to use a software to artificially alter the key of either one so that there is less of a disconnect tone-wise. (I know BandLab has something like that) There are some places where Insomnia’s instrumentals and Raison D’Être’s vocals (awkward pauses, drastically different tempos, etc) are a little mismatched but overall, it sounds like a good attempt. Wondering if you tried a reverse combo (Raison D’Être instrumental + Insomnia Vocals) idk if that would sound as good as this one but I think it’s worth a try.
