Here's a new idea I'm trying! This video is a how to handle specific spawns regardless of what you're flying. I'll work on putting out more of these to cover every spawn in the Abyss, so more to come! Hey Torvald, I love the vids they are so awesome please keep them up! As you seem to be expanding from doing just ship guides, personally I think it would be a fantastic idea for the aspiring newbro to hear your thoughts on skills, specifically minimum skill requirements. Im thinking comparisons between some gunnery support skills at lvl 5 vs. some navigation or shield skills at lvl 5 (specific to a ship I guess). One of the things I always seem to be doing is pausing on the fitting window and comparing my stats to your stats, which is where I usually find that I am not cap stable when you are XD

TheSwingmania glad to hear you’re enjoying them and that they’re helpful!! This is one thing I’ve heard and seen talked about a lot, because the skills do make a huge difference. I know I never touch on skills in any of my ship guides which can be the difference between completing the site or dying - so this is something I’ll work on soon!

ty for the video. Lost my gila to karen in T4 yesterday, she was in a blue cloud and I did not manage to get under her guns in time :) More training and better fit in progress

Ahh yeah sometimes you get really unfortunate spawn locations like that! With the Gila if you have an AB you should be able to orbit something, as long as you’re moving fast enough and keeping up that angular velocity you shouldn’t take too much damage

Ah damn. Wish I'd searched for more information beforehand. Finally trained up to cruisers today so I wanted to try out T1 in my new Omen. First attempt at a T1 and I got a Karybdis Tyrannos in the final room. Naturally, I didn't survive.

correction, it's not a giant gun, it's several free-floating heavy disruptive turrets called Lux Kontos.

Whoa that’s news to me! Are these in the lore somewhere that I could learn about?

@@TorvaldUruz in zKillboard on the Drifter battleship kills, if you look under what weapon it uses, it will say 'Lux Kontos' on it. If you click on it it will show info on what it is and what it does. Also, the Drifter cruiser weapons are called Lux Xiphos. Basically a more compact version of the Lux Kontos weapon.

does the supressor straight up destroy missiles or does it just make them have worse range/application?

shadow336k it applies damage to them, you can actually show info and see how much damage it applies, and if the missiles are in its range long enough they get destroyed

Yeah I was messing around with a Muninn fit, but it didn’t quite work out! I need to change it and make it better before I roll out a good Muninn fit/video.

Crovan yeah that’s a cheap Vagabond I was experimenting with but I ended up dying in the last room to the Dominix/Drone battleship XD I think I was supposed to do Gammas with it! Haha

Scharny so the Muninn fit in this video was a test, it’s a sub 1B Muninn for T5 Electricals and it didn’t work :( i ended up in a Vedmak/Damavik room and couldn’t apply to the Damaviks. I’ll re-do it and once I’m happy with how it does I’ll message it to ya!

Look loved the vid but god this fucking music in the background destroys my hears mate, honestly had to rewatch a few parts just because it produce so much fucking noise. I'ld highly suggest using more ambient/background music because this is just annoying, at least to me so just my bit. In any case, great vid, left a thumbs up, thanks for sharing your work!
