I would always seek out this song whenever I played. It holds many memories of my time as a noob, out among the then-somewhat-bland starfields, flying my ship (a gallente frigate, then a destroyer, then a cruiser) and not having a clue what I was doing. I enjoyed this song the most out of the whole list. It echoes the promise of a world not yet tapped and the majesty of space laid out before me; the times when EVE was really fun. Not the confusing game systems, obtuse UI or the genuinely awful playerbase, but the thrum of a ship, the dizzying hurtling past of planets and stars and the whirling miasma of warp.
this song, it reminds me of being stuck in life, when you lose a purpose for yourself, and you search for it, a new purpose, something to strive for, something to live for. it is the feeling of true loneliness is when you lose yourself.
This song makes me feel alone, but it also calms me. It fits the vast expanse of null sec perfectly, since when you’re there, not being alone can be nerve wracking, especially for a carebear like me
Possibly the best song in all of EVE, save the Revelations expantion theme which comes first. This one, very calming and yet, in a way, tells a story. One of distant suns waiting to be explored, of secrets waiting to be discovered.
Reminds of that special time in the DUST Beta, you know, before they tried to make it into a shitty COD clone. The track is strangely romantic, like being kissed by your soulmate.
I had this song played as the only song when I played, relaxing feeling when you travel from star system to star system and seeing one’s own ship blast away in space.
I only recently got addicted to EVE, after about 14 years of never knowing it existed, I stumbled across a player desc of it and quickly jumped into chaotic serinity
@@philiprobinson7666 there is no "serenity", excellent try on attempting to know what you are talking about kiddo, the word you are looking for is "singularity". He was describing the game as a chaotic calm.
GeeTR 63-71 No, I meant Serenity. And yes, I know what he meant. Serenity is the name of the Chinese server that was shut down in July (but CCP is working on bringing it back)
