Great video! I'm actually the dev behind EVETrade. Appreciate the shout out. If you actively use this still feel free to shoot me any issues or requests. I'm looking to update the app to be more performant in the coming weeks!
@@thederpycoders7208 someone recently had that issue and joined our discord. Unfortunately it's country / browser specific so I cannot address immediately. Thinking to remove cookies all together in an upcoming patch to address.
@@thederpycoders7208 Try now. I've removed the need for cookies. Europe and GDPR caused issues with the cookies so I removed the need for them and just use local storage instead. You may need to hard refresh.
+Ren Why well thanks for tuning in. Glad you found the video helpful. There are more tools I use but it would have made this too long of a video so will do a part 2 video of this soon. Also I am taking notes on all possible requests too.
Thanks! Really glad to hear you liked it and got some value from it. Awesome to hear there are people still who like the dry humor too. I have been swamped by irl stuff but there are new videos in the making. Let me know what kinda content you would like to see.
I love to do challenges like this myself, I know I can sit in Jita with accumulated wealth from my 18 years of Eve. Easily doing billions an hour, but where is the fun in that! Keep on trucking my friend and awesome content!
Thanks mate! Glad that my content is interesting to players who have "seen it all" in EVE too :) thanks for the kind words. Yea and challenges are my kinda thing. Goals reachable but something you need to work on. Keeps things interesting.
This is most likely something to do with playing 18yrs. As then you accumulate wealth so Large ISK is not really a thing anymore and for example throwing like 20bil in the market for 1.2 markup and executing those while you run abyssals for 300-500Mil /h and have few full accounts for 6 characters making about 30mil/day on PI makes it quite simple really. Money comes to money. Find things that make money. Secure those income streams and just grow them in a longrun. Quite simple really.
@TheTechcrisis so happy to hear that. Now I hope they bring you more wealth easier and launch your EVE career to another level. I have another video planning with a for more tools I use theme. Thanks for joining PiPi Industries
Unfortunately as in eve people are taking advantage of this by place items buy orders in other regions at decent ROI but as soon a a poor newbie buys their item in Jita the pull the buy order in other region eve can be cutthroat and toxic so be careful people
You are doing something horribly wrong my friend and I think you may need to re-think your strategy. 500 million isk in 5 weeks is well below average for a trader and Ive seen you completely miss opportunities for trades as if its not in your mind at all. You need to shake off what you think trading is. Dump the slow stupid cargo ships*, buy low and sell high. It's that simple. *The only reason to use an Industrial ship if you are carrying more than the maximum cargo space of a smaller,l faster ship. Time is money friend.
Thanks for the feedback. As for this challenge i am taking a fresh account from 5k isk to the point where i can comfortably sit in a freighter and keep moving onwards from there. I am also looking into region trading which is obviously slowing down some things due to flight times and buying fleet of cargo ships etc. Also pushing in money into skills for freighter cost 200mil+ etc. Of course sitting on station pushing volumes on station trades would be faster but i don't enjoy doing that. I have tried station trading for sure but just was not my ballgame. I like to connect with people. Hustle contracts with them and kinda help them achieve something without having to fly around as thats what I provide doing. I am more than willing to hear more about it and test things around. So all the initial tips are welcomed. Also I hope you understand this is not like a hardcore all day everyday thing but more of a casual approach for the average player gameplay hours spent. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Lets see if we can cook things around with you?
Your points are valid but only to someone who wants to grind up their ISK as fast as possible, and not everyone is interested in working hard in their game-job, even self appointed 'traders' =)
@Gary Your points are valid but only to someone who wants to grind up their ISK as fast as possible, and not everyone is interested in working hard in their game-job, even self appointed 'traders' =) I'm an industrialist and trader, and I haaaaate the idea of sitting in a station just trying to catch cheap goods and sell them marked up, especially in Jita when there's anywhere from a dozen to a hundred other people furiously trading and adjusting prices to beat my trades - that just sounds terrible to me. Plus, it doesn't really accomplish anything valuable in the sandbox, especially at the major hubs; it doesn't transform materials into useful items or offer convenience so people can get what they want without going to jita/hub ... there's very few people where isk/hour is the only important metric
@@mastakazam5094 Hi thanks for the comment and joining in to the community! I was trying to make that point on my comment and on the next video I made. This challenge is more like a representation of players who play casually and not minmax everything on a massive spreadsheet. Idea is to show that even though trading and especially regional trading is kinda low represented you can actually make nice money just casually doing it in EVE online.. And introduce hauling and regional trading to the newer players as a laidback stuff even though occationally taking riskier trades and flying with more risky freight it could be quite exciting too.
