Some observations... Vorton is not affected by Dark. T2 Electrical Overmind numbers i think it would take 7 Minutes raw overheat dps with Punch, but in practice the actual dps is lower than it should be for some reason, idk why. Of course you could run a Garmur/Hawk/Bomber alongside which should be fun in a team. At some point, i guess T4, Kiki and Angel are not survivable for the Sky. My Dark test fit (cheap version) it was pretty good imo. Decided to play it safe, took this ship into T1 electrical. First room got Photic abyssal overmind. Overheated vorton projector as much as I dared, orbited at 1km …. And took me around 12 min to burn him down. Got lucky in next two rooms (no more battleships / ehp sponges) and squeaked through with 45seconds on the clock. Way too close…

Testing Stormbringer in T6 Electric, theres not much that is any danger tbh if you pay attention. Wading into any number of Elite Cynabals without much care feels pretty good. Overmind would appear about every 5 runs (i.e. 20% of the time) does that match what you seen in T6 ? Not much of an issue if keeping focused to finish rooms as quick as possible. Two Overmind in a row might be survivable with a lucky 3rd wave but i would consider it a loss. Its an acceptable fail rate ? I really must say its uniquely fun to run compared to all other ships i tested, not much piloting, no drones to babysit, just a chilled out bulldozer. On the other hand the Overmind looms, so it's constantly time pressure. Pretty intense.

@@SamuelElsfleth sure. The fit imo is necessary to spend, any downgrade puts tank at risk too much. Generally the approach is to MWD to the gate immediately and use the 30km ammo. Exception being Karybdis, best to try to overheat MWD and get on top of it immediately, otherwise time is wasted having to deal with the field first. Concord is the only real dangerous spawn , eliminate the cruiser quickly but don't get close to the bunch at first. Vedmak can become overwhelming if there are too many cruisers, but mostly no issue, shoot Harrowing first. Big Tessa drones have mean alpha and so you burn past them while going for the gate. In these waves pay close attention to tank. Angel first shoot all regular Cynabal. Within 30km Punch is best, after that Galva. Overheat practically all the time but don't burn the gun on Overmind or Karybdis. You die with two Overminds period in T6. It is survivable in T5 but only barely. For ISK p/hour the Stormbringer is not *that* great, but it is one of the easiest ships to farm with because you barely have to do anything other than press F1 and overheat. However when you're entering T6, especially Electrics, you're already spending SO much ISK just to get in. Without full clears you're cutting a lot of earning potential, unfortunately Stormy can't reliably do clears aside from the final room. An enjoyable ship to fly but I find it's actual ISK earning potential is a bit ... overrated.

@@HuntSmacker Agree. Whats the actual plus from clearing all ? Which ship and weather would you recommed for T6 efficieny reliable ? I would also do duo Destroyer if that earns more, its a bit iffy with the Jacks.

why didn't you switch to longer-range ammo in the ephialtes room? the more of them you hit the higher effective dps you're doing despite the on-paper drop for longer-range ammo

Longer range ammo increaes the initial vorton projector range, the range of the "bounce" is fixed and not affected by ammo

@@titaniumultra No, it's the maximum range of the vorton arc that matters, that was fixed after being bugged on release. The range does not reset after the first bounce, so it calculates the total distance between *up to* 10 targets. The sleepers were spread out in that last room so they were not within range of a single close range arc strike. This misunderstanding is one of the main reasons people don't use edencom ships other than the cost; they expect to hit the entire room when they're close to a ship, and when they don't they go back to something they understand. The proper tactic for using projectors in abyssals is a short back-and-forth so you rubberband the npcs and they form into a ball as they chase you.
