Small correction on the gate guns info. Gate guns choose a target for 30 seconds, then switch targets to another player if there is still another suspect in range. Gate guns also lose aggro on a player if they warp off. When suspect players warp back to the gate, the gate guns do NOT start shooting them again. As for the lack of PVP skill, that is just care bear tears, pirates also do a significant amount of small gang PVP.

great video with lots of good information, especially your advice. the camps once had good reasons behind them (aside from grief). they still do, but the corps and their economics are much less important now. the fact that Uedama is now "mostly" passable would normally be an indicator of current realities to anyone who'd played EVE for more than the last five years. good advice to new players would be: tell them the economics behind WHY the hi sec camps are there, (never heard of a video to do that - especially as most are made by corp shills); tell them WHERE the choke points usually are (which makes sense once they know the WHY); tell them to set map to "kills in the last hour" to find the camps; and (as you did) expect to probably loose ships on the weekends when the griefers (and what's left of the corps) are most active...

3:57 if you route on dotlan, it shows the kills for each system in the list, very handy 28:14 about the cloak-trick the aim is the status bar with "estabishing wap vector" is NOT visible. if you see this you are visible and lockable, so when fitting & testing jump loops with the aim that this message does not show at any given time! the time the MWD has to be turned off is different from ship to ship and also based on skills. so there is no real "general advice" that can be given, as example my Occator does the trick perfectly when i turn off the MWD at about 90% while the Tayra requires it to actually turn off (and a EM-703 implant) but what @AloneInFinland said is absolutly correct, just that the ship in the video doesn't sucessfuly does the trick ;) 35:35 yes the Viator (Blockade runner) is a great piece .. but it has the massive downside that it can not be scanned, and this makes you always a target, since blockade runners are generally Piniada's where noone knows what will fall out of it ;)

I actually love gate campers. I do it sometimes with my corp but i dont really enjoy it. But i love the guys who do it. I even love gankers. It keeps you on your toes. I enjoy sitting lowclass wormholes with my handy dandy arty loki popping explorers who have the audacity to hack in my system 😂

Have you heard of Eveeye? The better, more modern dotlan to me.

I've seen a few camps where they'll drop cans at typical arrival or warp-out spots. The can will either prevent you from cloaking or break your cloak when you align to warp. Any way to get through those?

You must be using a different dotlan, when I load it, it's packed with ads.

gate campers are legit scum it only punishes players who dont have an alt account to scout gates its the lowest form of "pvp" and the main reason i signed off on PVP all together its basically just oh you didnt know theres 14+ of us sitting on the gate waiting for you lol i guess you lose GG and then they spam the chat like they did something special other than sit on a gate doing nothing for hours on end Geee i wonder why new players dont stay playing the game tho weird aint it?

Lol i do love these video's your assumption all we do is camp is wrong but hey that's eve for you you have no clue what were doing while camping if you assume this is all we have then your delusional, i don't have 25 account just for camping :P lol i have 3 that solo pvp all day, 11 for camp 5 for c5's and 6 for any think else i feel like doing, i can't just do one thing unfortunately
