i keep forgetting to launch drones via drag and drop. lol. someone actually told me about using the "f" hotkey recently.

Great vid! Learned a lot about the VNI. Too bad the update took away 50 bandwidth and left me with 75 only. Can only use 3 wasp II which sucks. I had to reconfigure my drones but tanks like a mother jumper. Even though Im deep in null sec surrounded by blue, these angel cartels are tricky therefor not allowing me to go afk. I did run a few havens and got a dreadnought spawn. Ripped through me at 70km while I was hitting a BS. It spawned with 5 BS, 2 BC and 3 web fitted frigates. They got me first then the dread did his thing. Focused my drones on the Frigates but was too late. I want that bounty but no way I can tank that in my VNI unless I did something wrong. Hoping you might shed some light on this. I’d like to take it again.

There's no way (gurista dread being the only exception) that you can indefinstley tank in a vni. And even if you could your vni would not break the tank with the dps. You'll need either an active rep dread, two dps fit carriers, or a titan to get rid of that dread (or like 10 plus vnis warping off as tank fails and like 45 minutes. Realistically if you can survive warping off from a cap spawn your doing well. You will need some help to nuke an Npc dread

Blitz Hacker yea I found that out the hard way. But still a good fit. Would the angel rock havens still be a good site to run or should I switch it up in the VNI? Sorry just new to this site ratting

i like the name of your ship... greetings from rick astley ^^ btw: the vni has 75mbit/s now for the drones... i tried your fitting and didn´t get it why i only had about 320 dps/s with the drones... this really is annoying :(

This is dated. Ccp changed the vni awhile back along with the drones. The fit will work well still however you will need to use the Ishtar hull unfortunately

There is an alpha fit, it's absolute junk tho vni's income is halved even on omega accounts. The new meta is something similar to this but with an Ishtar (omega only) some use gila's but they're junk, I've been thinking of revamping this tutorial as it's one of the most popular. I'll keep the channel posted

@@terrificlife1576 regardless of what he is saying the VNI is still very capable (can do every level 4 mission with it, often even easier than with an ishtar). However to get that 600+ dps, (almost 700 with blasters) you need to throw some guns and actually pilot it. Just orbiting with drones can get you nearly 500.

You need to get your cap support skills maxed out. After burner skill and fuel conservation skill

I guess this guide is obsolete with the changes, cant have cap stable even with 3 cap rigs and barely 300 dps

Same fit you have to use an Ishtar now however vni doesn't have the drone bandwidth anymore

Ensure your using heavy drones, your prob simulating it with the light or medium drones selected

Hey im former PL hotdropper, we arent realy afk :) you should never do anything with people you dont know in local. Normaly i lock up 7-10 systems , Key is not to rat in shiny i would not bring Fleet for this one :) so it goes under the radar 100%.

He's using a navy issue, the stock vexor has 75mb while the vexor navy issue has 125 and more armor and structure hp

Three to four months ago, the VNI was nerfed, reducing its Drone Bandwidth to 75 (probably to combat botting). I believe it also had it's cpu/powergrid reduced abit, but I'm not 100% sure about that part.

I keep getting yellowboxed by part of the enemy rats. They're not shooting at my drones, just trying to chase me I guess, what do I do? Seems like I'm orbiting too fast and they can't catch on. The moment I stop my ship and allow them to catch on then they start to redbox me.

It's prob the region your in, this works completely afk for gurista rats, sansha / blood raiders needs occasional intervention to attack frigs, not sure how it works with drone regions, but with angels just forget about it =(
