Finally someone who describes how it actually is with isk/hour!! I have tried so many stuffs in this game and often takeing the amount isk / hour and took of around 30-40 % because of setups/times salvages etc and then it has become kinda accurate :) U got yourself a follower! Cheers ♥ !

A little late to the comment party. I may have missed part of the vid, but I also didn’t hear any mention of the “toon” cost. As in I’m just an ‘09 player but just a couple years ago I whittled and consolidated my accounts down through character transfer down to 10 active accounts with all three slots training (for the sp farming part of revenue). Even though I plex my accounts through VERY careful mass omega/mct training buys when everything is at a significant discount it is still quite expensive and typically I have at least 5 accounts running while I’m gaming to be halfway efficient. I know for a fact that there are TONS of players out there that make my numbers look like a cute attempt. I agree that the inflated revenue style of videos tend to add to the discouragement of newer/younger players or even those that are not able to dedicate as much time to grind. I wish there was more content creators such as AceFace and his T0-T6 series. Love your content!

I agree.. so much of the ability to make X isk/hr depends on time invested to get the skills, save the ISK for the ships and the learned ability to avoid ganks. Then you have to know how to get the most for the items/LP you've acquired... which takes time away from earning. Unfortunately many are attracted by those types of videos and give up in short order. I also think the worst offenders are the Abyss people, but that's a discussion in itself. The most important thing to remember is that you only earn that much while actually taking part in that activity at that level, and a bunch of time is spent moving ammo around, determining the best way to cash in LP or where to sell loot and then dealing with that. Min/maxing is fun for some and looks good on paper, but they (we) spend a bunch of time and isk getting there.

yeah totally agree, i was doing a video on this effort to reward for people buying their game through plex, but it got side tracked today when i got my last answer about the poeple multiplexing, it turnes out alow of the poepl talking aobut multiplexing abyss are actually doing an activity that would get them banned....

i think people behind those videos assume you understand you make the isk they talking about when you actually doing the activity, and are not taking preparation time into consideriation because thats vastly different. and everyone playing the game allso kinda know for anything you wanna do, it require you to have the ships and skills needed to fly the ship. soon as you start getting into activities that make you 100 milll+ an hour, you start make so much isk, that be able to afford ships needed to get into something new type of activity usually arent a big deal. i allso belive most of the content creators dosent really assume most of people watching are brand new to the game, but have basic skills and arent totaly broke. when i joined my current corp 2 years ago, i was practicly broke, and had just enough liquid isk to buy a cheap ratting and mining fleet for my 3 accounts, and now my net worth are in the ballpark of 700-800 bill, and i plex my accounts with isk. matter of fact is that isk are stypidly easi to make in the game..

@@goldeneagle256 I completely disagree with your assumption that 'everyone playing the game' knows about the preparation, seed ISK and skills needed to start a new activity. New players come in, watch someone collect 220 mill after 15 minutes in a T6 and think they can just buy the ship and they'll be able to do the same... then when they can't, they quit. Hell, bittervets who have never been in the abyss think people are making a billion isk/hr completely risk free in HS. I'm in a new player focused corp, and I get questions on a regular basis from people who think you can just 'buy the fit' and you'll make the ISK because of what they saw on RU-vid... it can be difficult to temper their expectations. I agree with you that ISK is easy to make in game, but we've been playing long enough to understand the pitfalls and preparation. You and I know how to actually fly the fits, or at least recognize when we can't. We know how to evaluate pricing and how to get good ISK for what we have to sell. The issue is that most of those videos gloss over all that because they make the same assumption you do. Actual new player content doesn't draw the views like the big ISK making ones do.

I used to run HS combat sites. One night I logged in, scanned a bit, completed my first site real quick, dropped a Serpentis web. Nice. Second site, the same. Called it a night. Probably over 600M/h. Yeah, right. Well that never happened again. It was preceeded and followed by nights where the ISK/h was below 20. Occasionally would spike to 50. It all depends how fast you get lucky with a drop and if you stop right afterwards or go on. Often ISK/h is vastly overstated. Basicly for propaganda purposes when it comes to solo indipendent income. Oh yeah. I also made 500 M/h with wh exploration. One time. In 2 months.

Fair points overall, time investment and isk investment is often overlooked when it comes to people stating their isk/hr. Comment for anyone who is looking to get into burners you don't have to have all the ships in there blingiest form ready to go. You can do all the Team Burners in a cheap 200mil(ish) Polarised Garmur, you don't need to use the full faction fit. Serpentis Base with the Talos' can be done with a 55mil Harpy. Angel Base with 4x DD + Industrial can be done with a 120mil kitey Kikimora. The Angel Dram can be done in a cheap DD. And from there you can just decline the other missions and work your way from the ground up knowing you can at least do half the special missions with a small amount of investment. One point of burners that gets overlooked here is blitzing, where you mass decline missions hunting only for burner missions. This relies on having Faction Standing over 5.0 so you don't lose access to level 4's. This increases the Isk/hr by a fair margin but only in bursts. As you cannot let your Agent or Corp standing go too low as you will lose access to the missions regardless of faction standing. For people discussing Blitzing isk/hr this is the setup part that is often missed out as you still have to do some normal missions eventually to repair the minor standings.

yup fully agree about the cheaper ships, however blitzing again is one that can sometimes work, but doing it once i wrecked my standing because i just wasent given burner missions, its back to the rng. Sometimes its good sometimes not. ive had weeks where everysecond mission was a burner, and before this weekend only once before where i didnt have any for a while, and both times was so sevear i checked to see if the missions still existed. this weekend was over 120 missions, not including the faction one where i made my alt deliver the thing, and not one offer.

Sounds like a painful day! I run mine in nullsec and only Blitz once or twice a week. I kinda like the normal missions against the Empires as Battleship tags are worth so much and there are a lot of special spawns that drop high value 1003-1005 implants and faction mods on top. But you got to be crazy enough to throw a Marauder at them in nullsec which I do lol. Wonder if Empire space has a lower spawn rate, as I kinda feel the burner chance is a 1/3 of mission offers, but i'm using multiple puller accounts so the bad RNG gets negated a fair bit. One account pulling is probably not really as viable as you are finding out. @@aloneinfinland

To run the burner missions you need to ignore nearly all the missions offered. It’s a max/min approach, but it gets you a high number of burner missions. Once your faction standing gets high enough, and assuming you do the story line mission , your good. Gets boring though. A Raven will run all level 4 missions (that require a BS), personally I fit a mjd and snipe, then mjd back to the acceleration gates. Trying to max your income turns a game into a job.

That's true about the 'becoming a job'. Blotzing burners is OK, but as I mentioned in a different vid, I've had spells of zero burners for days when missioning, and I'm highest possible stats

This is why people underestimate mining as income. You can mine anytime for as long as you like, the investment is minimal and the setup time can be nearly zero. It also scales up to a dozen accounts or more before human input even becomes a factor. it can be done in limited bursts on higher value targets (more setup for less time on field) or you can hit highsec ice or ore which is always there and establishes an actual consistent "isk per hour" that you can always attain. thats true, it is scalable, and with some sensor skills and a day of training gas huffing can rake in a ton for low risk, high, low null and wh all pay well, and venturing is a cheap ass ship that pays it self off 10 fold on the first run

Truth! I earned over 250,000 FW L.P. in 2 hours and put a bunch of Navy Issue BPCs on contract. I didn't "make 125m Isk" an hour. I'm making roughly 250m Isk when my customers accept the contracts tomorrow or 4 days from now

Have you tried null sec combat sites? some systems have them pop up continuously and then if you get a 10/10 ded site they pay well. so setup is having access to null sec space with a good system that constantly re-spawns sites, honestly not hard to find. then you can run them over and over 30mill per site with an ishtar in the 30-40 min range and the deds pay 450+ but that requires ships that can do them. some people sell the deds for 130mill a pop.

I live in a c5 wh and am lucky enough to have a c5 farm I spent 6 months on mct's on 2 accounts to train decent paladin pilots to farm c5 annoms in my farm i have 1 eos/carrier/hauling pilot i have a dedicated scanner and my 2 paladin pilots to set up the farm to krab can take as little as 15 mins or a bit longer say 20 mins if a c2/c3/c4 hole spawns and i have to battleship roll them 3 accounts x 2 passes if it's just the static and it's fresh then carrier roll away yesterday I ran 5 sites 2 garrisions 3 strongholds it took 1 hr 25 mins to run the sites for a little over 2.5 bill plus rolling a c5 and then a c6 with my carrier I should point out i have a mag farm I know there is some risk but im okay with it the benefits of running c5 sites out weighs the risk i also treat my paladins as ammo the ships are pretty cheap and i dont have to refit to do the drifter just putting it out there i probably run sites twice a week

Of course make videos about anything you like, you have a channel to run after all. I am only responding in hopes of opening your eyes about a couple facts about your rant about the click bait videos. The isk per hour topic is a popular subject within the eve community, that and pvp. Yes, some are click baiting and leaving out some key logistics like you stated in this video. Think about this, how many games from 20 years ago are still around and have a strong player base? What if every year new people create the 'isk per hour' videos and those videos spike the interests of new players to eve? What if those people and those click bait videos is part of the secret recipe that keeps a 20 year old game still thriving?

I hope you have a team of at least 15 people that you can work with on any ISK making operations in EVE. You need a highly trained group of at least 10 people to conduct protection operations for anything you do outside of a station. It does not matter weather it is empire or not. All that needs to be done in empire to attack you at will is to create a war dec. If you are solo you are easily neutralized with a single 6 million credit destroyer in 30 seconds which is so fast they can usually warp out before the authorities can protect you, and your ship is a pile of floating debris. These individuals usually have an alt in an industrial ship that warps in and loots your wreck and warps out before the cops arrive as well. These Gallente destroyers are what your defense team should primarily be equipped to neutralize with a single salvo if they target anyone in your operation.

you are far out of date man, you cant wardec a corp that dosent have a structure. you dotn need 15 people for mining it can be done solo, your protection is location and looking at local. Catalists ganks can kill faster than your defence can deal with them, you need to avoid them.

Some vids are indeed nonsense in terms of income, but overall making isk is easy nowadays, it's just do T6 abyss in Gila or Stormcheater for 500mil per hour, not really hard in those 2 ships

At this point anyone telling you to do L4 Missions for ISK is trolling you, L4 Missions are outdated content for new or distracted (second monitor) players to learn the basics of gameplay in a safer enviroment or to grind up Reputation and Security status. For ISK even basic tier 0 and tier 3 Abyss sites will reward you much better and actually teach you how to fly your ship properly as a new player. A 10m Corax on average earns like 15m/h in T0 exotic sites, a 16m Dragoon like 25-35m/h in T1 Electric. You will have the value of your ship returned in only two successful runs. At the same time you build up muscle memory and learn what each enemy does allowing you to slowly upgrade your ship for the higher sites that actually earn hundreds of millions per hour. In some of them you can even bring a buddy with you that can show you the ropes.

i dont exactly agree or dissagree and your numbers are dead on for rewards, but an extrav lvl 4 extrav is 25 minutes in a t1 raven, 28 mil in bounties, 4 mil in rewards and 24 mil in lp. same mission in my marauders is 12ish minutes with full concentration or closer to 20 if im watching something that needs attention. But when im missioning im exactly what you describe, a distracted second monitor player. 15 mil per hour is fine in abyssal, but wehn you get your stats up with missioning you can blits them and make 250/300 mil per hours, with close to zero risk for eve, talking paladin for missions, nergal for fast missions, and burrner agents, teams and the burner talso, and a izk for other bases then trading in lp. SOE or thucker have no tag requirements so less fecking about with requirements on the LP store, and once you have the ships you will have them for a while, my golum was bough on day 1 of their release, and i still have it. i run abyssals too, i basically do what i fancy, isk isint the reason, just what calms me (whole day of fw today) t4's and 5's generate more isk per hour usually, but they are more samey than the abyssal sites for me and distraction or disconnect is death, not so for lvl4's.

What a lonely alpha account can do is run tier 1 frigs/DD's and cruisers in lev 2 missions to get some payout. Then during that week a fully kitted garmur drops in on you and you reset to zero after losing the ship. What's fucked up is that nobody really shows the alpha way, starting from zero. I mean I'm not really alpha, both my toons are ~35mil sp, but I refuse to pay omega and there's really no content for people like me. I don't want to play 3+ multiboxed omega and flex how good I am, that's lame. Even I know that you can make tons of ISK that way. But let's talk real alpha. Working your way from zero. OZ doesn't really show it with his market play, I tried it, sorry no bueno. Other popular guy keeps showing "alpha" setups for missions, but simple math shows his skills are past alpha limit and even if you can fit what he shows, DPS isn't there, because he's not really showing it on true alpha toon. It's sad how little good info is on this game. I've played back in 2004-2007,but I'm not sure I want to commit 10hrs a day to it anymore and find me a success story that plays only 2hrs a day.

Funny point because im actually filming an alpha run with glasgow at the moment. Not many people do cater to it in general because most fans of the game arent omega. I get that some people cant afford it, but im less caring aobut the 'im never paying for this game thats constantly updated' crowed an any game. But i want to help newer players into the game. its definatly not for everyone as far as games go, but i love it, and it annoys me that so much of the infor is disconnected from reality so massivly as to be off putting to the first time audience. Personally ive found so many games i love through YT videos and then trying the game, that i can definatly see how someont would hate the game after seeing the 200mil and hour setups, and trealisint it would take 2 years to get the skills to do that.

@@aloneinfinland I'm not saying don't pay for the game, but people are not upfront with their videos as far costs involved (multiple omega accounts) to have fun in the game and NOT be just bait to tricked out ships. Realistically, I'd like to see content with 1 omega account, which was normal back in the subscription days, having 2 like me wasn't generally the rule, but exception. Nowadays, I'm willing to entertain the idea of paying for one omega, but before I get there I'd like to see some good content catered to alpha accounts.

Too many ppl start playing Eve and quickly establishes a goal to pay for omega with isk. I make around 900-1100 M/h (and that's after expenses and logistics/preparations are accounted for) but I still pay for all 3 accounts with actual money. The moment I start plexing with isk is the moment I turn it into a job...

thats it, if your just a solo doing ratting mossions or expo, you can expect 1-200 mil/h so thats 12 to 25 hours to keep 1 account up if the rnjesus is with you. Ive actually dont it this last month, because im skin after christmas, but its not something i would normally do. An hour in my normal work cover the game plus snacks, so why put in the 25 hours for the same thing.

My replay video are all satire and titled things like " MAKE 8 bil ISK in 3 minutes" and it just me killing some ones Hauler on a Thera hole and getting a good drop lolol In reality , it could be days before I land another whale ... TERRIBLE ISK PER HOUR lolol The thing is , my channel and replays are just that , simple replay show's 4 the bro's - I get like 30 Alliance buddy views a video n that perfect ....... BUT If I title the video with words like "PVP , PIRATE GUIDE / MAKE _______ ISK in ______ Time" etc. those vids that will get a few thousand views ahahah So people do it cuz that is what people search for unfortunately Great video -The Mayor of Thera ps: Taking what you love doing the most in Eve and making it profitable is the very best ISK PER HOUR your ever gonna get , cuz ya won't even be counting

Now that is the truth! I'm kind of disheartened by all the focus on generating isk as the gameplay loop. Very few mentions of fun when people are talking about eve, it's more like the way people talk about side hustles. With the ammount of people showing methods of 'plexing your account for free' that takes 20 hours in game instead of just working for an hour at a job and enjoying the game....
