Eve's story | Ewing's Sarcoma | Stand Up To Cancer 

she did not lose. she set herself free from the pain. never say we lose because we pass away from our cancer. please cause we never lost. I have terminal cancer and I already told my family when I pass never say I lost my battle with cancer always say I beat it because it tried killing me sooner but it never did I went on my time just like EVE went on her time. we are winners and we beat cancers butt. so there.

I knew eve, she went to my school and she was such a sweet person People say that there is no such thing as a perfect and fully good person but she was, nobody didn't like her and on the off chance that she came to school everyone had a smile on their face In our school we do something called mayday, and she was picked as may queen, when she came in she was in a wheelchair and everyone was either in tears or half way there. Our teacher (also eves aunt) broke into tears an had to stand there and see her niece in this horrible condition A few months later, she passed away and it was so solemn when we came into school the next day If you read all the way to the end then I'm thank thankful you that you took the time to.

That moment when she was crying in the car and saying "i can't handle it anymore" absolutely broke my heart.

This only shows her upset. As some who was across the the ward from her she always used to smile at me and we used to pull funny faces and talk to each other. She was the only one who understood what I was going through and I like to think I helped her in the same way. I could have said hi to her when I went in for chemo but I didn't... then she died the next time I was in. Please please please donate and always be kind to the people you hold close as one day it my be to late.

No one "lost the fight" with cancer! They chose to win and go home! To fight is to win everytime!!!!!! RIP Eve we wont forget you ever!!!!!

I'm not a very emotional person, and it takes a lot to move me. However i was in tears when i watched this...

Why? I know there is no rhyme or reason behind it, but just... Why?? Why did someone so young and innocent have to spend her short time on this earth suffering. I can't even comprehend. I don't even know her and I'm heartbroken

I saw this on gogglebox and it was so heartbreaking. I feel so sorry for her and that her little life was cut so short.

My dad had cancer. I saw my dad, a 48 year old cop cry in pain. I can only imagine how this little girl must have felt . Its just heart breaking that a child has to go through pain an adult cannot handle.

It takes a lot to really make me cry. Im a 37 year old ex squaddie who served in Iraq and Afganistan but this had me in bits. Listening to her sister at the end saying how she wanted her baby sister to go and be at peace is absolutely heart breaking. I hope this family are able to take some comfort from what a inspirational and brave little girl she was. Rest in peace Eve.

I remember being one of her mates and I cried my eyes out when I heard that she died, can’t even begin to imagine how her closest friends and family felt at the time. At school the whole class learned a dance to uptown funk and it got sent to her to cheer her up. Despite the constant smiles you could see the pain she was in and it was heartbreaking that this can happen to even the kindest, and purest of people. Rest in peace Eve, we all miss you 🕊

My mother had canser at stage 3 but miraculously she made it. Beautiful little Eve never make it though. This disease is so awful. There are no words that can comfort her family . If you loose a dear person there is just emptiness and anger...

That poor girl. I think what speaks volumes is when one of the sisters said that the suffering was so bad that she would almost be able to understand if Eve wanted to pass on. To say, "if you want to go, go" - it almost seemed like passing away would be easier, because at least the pain would be over. Her sisters look like lovely women, too. Thoughts and prayers to them all.

I knew Eve, on a very personal level, me and her were friends growing up her sisters and my sister were best friends and we were always hanging out, we also went to Sunday school together and we were the bestest of friends nothing could seperate us, I found out that Eve was suffering from cancer a few days after she was diagnosed, the same as her I thought it would only be a few weeks and she would be okay again, we later found out it wasn’t the case, everytime I saw eve she was in so much pain and I saw how much it hurt Meg and Beth and her mum, Eve would have to be in a wheelchair because standing caused her so much pain, the last time I saw Eve alive was December 24th 2016 is when we all gathered to celebrate my sisters birthday, Eve was in so much pain it was unreal and I couldn’t help but cry and feel bad for her after she left, when Eve passed away I was heartbroken and begged my mum to let me have the day off school to go to her funeral but unfortunately I couldn’t, I went to school in tears and after school my mum took me to see her grave, one thing I remembered about Eve was that her motto was to keep smiling. There are people who say that there is no such thing as a perfect person but Eve was just that, perfect, she was the best person ever and was always just so happy and bright. Eve loved to smile and used to draw so many suns with smiley faces on them and it would always say “keep smiling” And for the past nearly 5 years now I’ve kept doing just that, rest in peace angel

It is so sad to see a sweet little girl like Eve suffer this awful disease called cancer and die from it. When she said that she could not handle it anymore, I understood her very well. Why can't cancer only hit very old people not lovely little girls like Eve?

She was so beautiful. It’s not fair for someone so young and full of happiness to just deteriorate in pain.I’m 14 and I just can’t imagine dealing with that myself now let alone at 9/10.Films like this make me want to recover appreciate life.

my heart is truly breaking for Eve and all the people who suffer from cancer. I am baffled by how rampant cancer is. when I was younger, (I am now 36) I never knew a person with cancer. I've now lost my father to it, and it seems everywhere I turn there is someone suffering. I really believe it has gotten worse and I hope the culprit will be found and eradicated.

I have this story of how one of my mum's friends cheated cancer, (You don't have to read but it was a true miracle) I remember when I was 2/3 years old, she had a daughter named Senuli who I played with a lot, then when I started to read, my mum's friend helped me by buying me books, she helped my mother and she was very kind, despite her limitations, my mother told me that she had cancer for 18 years and then one day, it stopped, the doctors was were baffled and asked her how, all she said was "All I did was spread my love to those who can't." I think that if laughter is the best medicine, friends and family are the best doctors, which is how she won her fight, against cancer.

Her innocence made me cry may God cure all the hearts of the lost ones may you rest in ease and peace where there is no pain may God bless you all the family members ❤❤❤😊

Wow, that was the hardest video to watch...it was more than I could handle...I will never understand why this innocent little girl and all kid's have to suffer like that..? if I had one wish in the world it would without a doubt be to eradicate cancer period! My sister was diagnosed with the exactly the same type. Her cry resembled exactly the same as this child when the caretaker adjusted her footwear, helped her into the car. Everything. My sister used to cry day and night. I couldn't even complete watching this video. I am so sorry for everyone who is going through this.

I was really good friends with this family and the day she passed I was on holiday and ( I knew the family but I only met her a couple times) and I was sitting on the beach and my mum sat me down and said “eve is no longer in pain she is with god” (their family is religious ) and I didn’t know what to say a couple hours later we walked into a shop and there was a double sided sequin pillow and somebody had written on it ‘eve’.....

I knew eve since first grade she was a sweet , helpful , kind, nice girl i always hangout with her and since i knew that she had cancer i felt sad and sorry for eve i love her soooooo much and i hope she will get better soon i missed her soo much and i wish her the best wishes hope you will be better I LOVE YOU SOO MUCH!!

I know eve she went through treatment a t Leicester Royal and was on the same ward as a boy named Marcus who has bone cancer and sadly replaced sending our love to eves family and friends she was such a sweet girl always with a smile on her face
