This is really perfectly done- the shot with Basil stabbing Sunny’s eye out and the quietness that follows reflecting on the climax of their relationship is haunting. I really love this!! 🤍💛
Oh my God, this song was just MADE for these two! It fits them SO well, like, scarily so! Even the 'their watching us' lines take on a whole different meaning. I especially love the build up to the climax, it fits their roles so perfectly. Basil trying to justify his actions and then Sunny saying he never asked for any of this to happen and he just wants to be alone (I especially love the animation of him shrugging Basil's hands away with 'please just stop touching me!') And then the climax followed by a quiet breakdown, it's truly harrowing.

Can you imagine this from the others perspective. They all went to sleep together after having a long orlver due conversation about their feelings and trauma, when they wake up Sunny is missing but he might just be in the toilet or something likr that, they all go up to Basils room to talk with him and what do they find but both of them lying unconscious with Sunny missing an eye.
i love love love this omg! sunny and basil really are heartbreaking mirrors in some ways, and its visually echoed so well by their identical clothing. all of this is such an amazing journey of omori agony... i swear my heart actually STOPPED when basil and sunny's hands unwound from each other. sweet paaain :'D also the fact that they never seem to be looking directly at each other, but rather at something a bit up above to the right or left of them... do they think they are talking to other? or something behind the other? spooky :0 thank u for doing god's work and producing this masterpiece

I can’t remember the last time an animatic has made me feel this way, it’s so surreal and unexplainable. I have watched this so many times now cause it’s just so beautiful to look at and also so emotional. You did absolutely amazing with this and the song is perfect for Sunny and Basil.
oh my gosh??? Okay so today I was just thinking "omg an evelyn evelyn omori animatic would be so cool" and started imagining it with the song. Then this pops on my recommended. This is so good and very underrated. "It's broken I don't want to play" *shows violin* AAAAUGH that part gave me chills and the climax of the song was animated so well. Definitely gonna watch this multiple times
I’ll always blown away by your longer videos- the composition, the way sunny pushed basil away, the subtle build up of tension. just everything, i know i sound ridiculous but i just love your art so damn much. you captured both the sadness and sweetness of their dynamic with the perfect song to do the job. and the way you animated their fight? oh my hod. i have no words. please just know that we all appreciate your hard work, even if the algorithm doesn’t show your videos to as many people as it should!!

Beautiful animation. It takes a lot creativity and talent to make the animation fit so well with the song. The ending felt very climactic, like everything else in the animation came back full circle. Also the animation of Sunny's eye being stabbed out was a lot more guttural than I thought it would be.
