Lol they literally removed half of the champions kit and double downed on the part everyone hated the most about Eve. Ad Eve “chances you down, your probably dead but you have a chance” Ap Eve “ wait was that her ult, o well the screens gray and I didn’t even see her”
@@shadows-xn3ed yeah but considering her lore being a one shot or one shotted champion works way better with her new kit, she stalks them to find the best chance to attack instead of straight up starting in a lane and fighting, which doesn't really fit with her as a character
@@superflan2981 ok but why justify creating something toxic with something that riot most likely wrote a week before the champ rework went live? that doesn't make any sense. Also, they could have double down on the chase down ad side (the opposite of her now) and the story could stay the same. shes brings people in then plays with them for as long as their body can hold out. like ya you can make that fit her current kit, but that still fits the kit in this old video?
I've been playing this champ for a bit now and I have to say once you learn her she is incredibly powerful. Ganking is crazy good cause of stealth, she does amazing damage per sec and can build some tankiness if she needs to. She can be a bit of a gamble and generally if the other team have seen her before they'll go out their way to shut her down early but she can come back very strong. Very happy with the ip I put into her.
Ik this is a bit old, but i agree 100% Evelynn's early ganks are just op with stealth and late game she can one shot anyone... I sin every ranked with her :)
this champ is so op now without oracle and the old vision wards.... i think in s4 she becomes one of the most banded champions. many people play eve in normal after the new patch
To be fair, you need to play to your opponents strengths. Get a pink ward early in bot and place it in the river bush after a little time has passed. Make sure to use a sweeping lens to clear out enemy stealth wards before placing the pink or else they'll know to Deward it. Also make sure to play aggressively in order to keep the other team from getting to your pink ward. It will set you back significantly in gold but you probably won't get ganked as much.
I think that the only thing that needs a change is the price of pink wards since they are much less useful than stealth wards. I would change the pricing or add a lot more hit points. Alternatively you could have a trinket, with a longer cooldown than sweeping lens, that can place a pink ward.
I played her the other day and I was just trying her out because I had to fill in champion selection. I'm very new with her but I still managed to help out my team without feeding. I was like the eyes of my team because of my stealth. Love her now and I am considering to main her.
GoodGuy 53 Well she was or still is,because I hardly see anyone use her,but I did see her in a champion(summer) match recently so she is getting more attention.
It is worth noting that *R: Agony's Embrace* will add additional shielding vs cloned champions. Also, laning is possible due to her ability to cast *Q: Hatespike* while moving as well as casting on enemy champions beyond her normal cast range by "drawing" a line through an enemy minion.
Only veteran players would know that this is evelyn's first rework. I still remember the 60 seconds invisibility and 2 seconds stun, I miss the old eve.
I start with: hextec gunblade, after i take ninja tabi or mercurys treaths in lane or boots of mobility when jungling, then i take infinity edge, ravenous hydra, blood thister and phantom dancers. This give me some durabilety and high DPS hybrid nuke while the movement speed buff from boots and dancers give me great ganks and the lifesteal and spell vamp and the tanky boots give me some substain in the lane and makes a great 1v1 dualist. Eve is still a squishy champ, even if she benefits from the vision changes. Hard CC and mobility work best against her. If you make her fall behind, it'll be hard for her to come back in game, though not impossible. Playing her is a gamble imho.
***** Yes, but when he says "Hard CC shuts any damage dealer down" I assume he is talking about when they are CCed. You can CC Olaf when his ult is down.
Zepherush No, you must be a noob. Her Hate-spike's AP ratio has been nerfed like 3 times, her ult was destroyed, and her ravage was turned into physical damage.
Travis kolesar I also think she needs a new skin. Personally I think we need one that is a) cool and b) dressed appropriately. Now while those are in part my own personal morales, that's not really the reason i'm giving for that. But if every skin of your champion is dressed like that, I'm sorry but your skins aren't going to have much variety. If you chaged her clothes to white people still couldn't see a huge difference due to how little she's wearing. In order for her to have a cool skin, she has to, you know, be wearing something to look cool. Otherwise it's literally just going to be another retarded evelynn skins like her others.
I am glad for the Evelynn rework. Her impact to the game is now noticed and appreciated, unlike before when she has high winrate at high elo and pro, yet she is super overshadowed by other champs like Elise and Lee Sin. That's why i kinda miss this Evelynn especially at season 3. Back then she is kinda like Yii (very fast runner) with magic items, spikes that are similar to Singed smoke, while having that permanently camouflage effect. At lategame, she just needs to E, Q and auto attack with lichbane(E does not proc it before), and that Squishy is deleted even without using her Ult. And then riot nerfed her until she was reworked.
I just want LOL to make a new vid because of all the updates and items that they've added like trinkets. I agree with you though, she is really good and I really like playing her. =)
So true. With 0.3 second cd and over 50 damage on each hit, assuming you hit three times a second that's 150 damage per second. If you use ignite on top of this you can win literally any 1v1 early game. The only way to beat her in urf is building magic resist.
Yeah, to use her ult functionally you kind of need a pseudo tanky evelynn build that can maximize on the initiation it opportunities. The "Burn Build" with some additional tanky items works pretty well, but as a champion she could use some work, the ult needs to see use slightly more often than opening up on a full team of max health enemies, hitting them a few times, then running out.
lol they removed skill expressions threw mixed item ap/ad and the ability to get in and out safely for insta get out with R and no skill expression threw abilities or items. Of course they hard nerfed the dmg output
Why wouldnt she be good? Play her with this build its oneshoting:enchantment runic echos(if jg), hextech gunblade, lich bane, rylai,rabbadon,boots of mobility they rework her for like a 3 weeks they confirmed
I usually build Eve as an AP/Tank.. So I usually build Liandry's Torment and Rylai's Crystal Scepter for the massive slow and spell burn combo. Then I work into Void Staff to help increase the damge output. Then I either build Rod of the Ages and Rabadon's Deathcap or Ohmwrecker. For my boots, I build Sorcerer's Shoes with Furor Enhancement for better mobility.
