I've been an Elvis fan since 1993 I've been bullied in many different ways but Elvis's music has got me through so much way more then any one else has so I would never trade Elvis for anything he my ride or die life friend even thow he not hear in body he and I also got bullied for being tall and skinny and I realized I'm me I'm not made to fit in im made to stand out 😊
My 12 year-old son gets picked on for being different. His eyes well up sometimes when he talks about not having friends. But he loves Elvis. He wears his hair like him and has always loved pink even before he discovered Elvis. Whenever he gets down, I tell him not to worry about it because even Elvis got picked on. He always feels better after that.
I really liked this video. I think that's one of the reasons why I love Elvis is because he's different. People made fun of me all my life, but I could always count on Elvis to bring my spirit up.❤

I am a 56 year-old man with 30 years in the union and the younger kids come in and they are so disrespectful and they’ll even make fun of my weight and it’s embarrassing and I get angry sometimes and I, let them have it but I don’t because I know they’re young and don’t know anything about the world so this video really hit home for me just when I needed it. I heard Elvis would be signing autologous and one time a guy came up and ask him to sign and punched Elvis in the face. Their were so many jealous guys. After he came through the army men treated him better. Thanks guys, great show.

Thank you I'm 67 and was bullied because I combed my hair like Elvis and people didn't like they called me greaser and other names but I still dressed and combed my hair the way I wanted. I still get people that try push me today but I don't push that easy any more so thank you again

Danny, you & I are close in age. I just turned 61, I've always been short my whole life! I learned at a very early age that if you take crap from some bully, they're gonna keep on you? My father taught me how to defend myself when I was a little boy. I believe that I was picked on for being little, but that turned into physical intimidation afterwards! That only happened once. Because I fought back in the school yard in front of my peers. I stood my ground, and never looked back after that. I guess that I was lucky? What I'm trying to say here is your message is spot-on! Internet bullies are trolls … they hid behind the computer. Face to face bullies are cowards who prey on the weak . That’s why it’s advisable to get your kids into self defense training early on … to stand up to … and handle bullies face to face , and if it does become physical … they can handle business . I agree with you danny and Teresa, I was bullied when i was kid because I have scoliosis and I had a hunchback because of it and kids would make fun of me all the time and they just don't know what that does to a person it gave me a complex about myself my whole life .so I'm glad you are speaking out on this and I feel people do need see this video... I dealt with bullying from family members (and some classmates) as a child. They found things to tease me for, such as my hair, my speech impediment, the way I ate and the way I looked and acted overall. In their perspective, I was just different from them. This had a huge effect on my self-esteem because I had to work extra hard to please them, but it was never enough. And I allowed others to bully or walk all over me, because I had no clue what proper boundaries looked like. I’m still in the recovery process, but I’m learning to love and accept myself with every day. Thanks for sharing this! :) It’s reassuring to learn about Elvis’ experiences with bullying and how he never let it get to him.
At my older age. I finally realized that when I was bullied in high school, it was because those that bully are most times jealous of you and make up lies to spread around. I never forget it, and sure Elvis never did either.

I just found out a couple days ago that a friend's granddaughter who is about 14 years old has been bullied for over a year now. Couple days ago the granddaughter was beaten up by another girl and after that a boy took his turn on beating her up too. It was so bad they were not only beating her up but kicking her in her head. The family of the little girl is talking of a lawsuit The funny thing is while the beating was going on the kids that were egging this on were videotaping it There is a whole lot of evidence on those video tapes I hope everyone has a nice weekend 💜
Those kids should be punished and made pay for her medical problems. If they get away with this, it will only make them do it to more kids. Sad, but I don't know how to stop this behavior.

My husband did the same thing once when he was about 10 years old. He was quiet at school, and a bigger kid taunted him until one day Ken lost his cool and punched the kid right on his jaw, just like he'd seen John Wayne do in his movies😄. Nobody ever pushed him around after that.
And when Elvis made it red was the first one on the books and then sunny and the rest of them no one dared bullied him from what you're saying he had his bullies I remember your dad saying he had bullies too love you guys I really do
Glad you and Billy are improving over your surgeries. Unfortunately time is the real healer. With the bullying sadly it’s world wide, there’s been some (too many) sad deaths in Australia too. How the kids of today survive with 24/7 social media etc. I was bullied at school
I hope that the main talking point of this video wasn’t inspired by Laney being bullied because she’s an intelligent, charismatic sweetheart. If she is having any problems, I hope that her MMA cousin is showing her how to “throw hands” because that’s the only thing that will get a bully’s attention and not a bad life skill to have.

Elvis became the greatest and got the sweetest revenge by just being who he really was. It kind of worked out the same way for me, although I never became a superstar of that dimension.
