You know I started around after taz and it took me two months to do my practical. I now have my license Alhamdulilah. And my husband bought me a car for my birthday and it was a surprise. So lucky 🍀

Passed my test 1st time with zero minors and learned alot from your videos.. thank you!!

Passed today thanks to your videos! Starting the new year off just right. I thought I failed today, but found out I only got two minors! My advice: Speak to your examiner, ask them questions, I made my examiner laugh multiple times to ease the tension from both the test and between me and him. And on top of that always question what’s about to happen, for example: if you see a bus amongst the side, question yourself; is the bus going to move off so should I overtake? or shall I wait for it? Then trust your instincts, don’t rush it because rushing is what honestly caused me to fail in the past. Just judge every situation like a human not like a robot. Don’t squeeze through tight situations, just wait till the car passes, don’t rush on roundabouts just observe and move accordingly. The worst that can happen is you getting a minor, but don’t forget we get to have 15 of those.

Passed my test first time this morning with only 2 minors, less than 2 months after my first lesson. 8 hours of lessons. Bloody loving it

About your Diesel to Petrol Video - I wasn’t taught correctly on the Diesel car which is the car I was learning in and only the week before the test the instructor taught me to use the accelerator with the clutch. I now have a hard time getting in the car because it’s hard work to learn again as I did not have a good experience with learning generally. I think there is a difference for people in my situation. Hope you see this, great content, keep it up 👍✔️

Taz's driving has gotten brilliant Pin and her lessons on roundabouts has got good. One thing you may have noticed is at 38.39 on the video a lazy/naughty car driver went over the roundabout white markings. That's dangerous and I've seen it happen a lot. I can also say when I was using gas and gear sometimes I would bring clutch only 3/4 way up then change to second gear from first when moving off fast. My instructor taught me this and I'd like to know what you think, please let me know. I'll see you next video and enjoy new year as instructor 😉

The roundabout we approach at 37.35 is interesting as the Council has re-engineered it several ways to enhance road safety. We need to follow markings to A463 Dudley (A454 Walsall is the lane to our left). On approach to the roundabout the council has erected sight screens to stop us seeing too much early on during approach.There is then a clear viewing space as the zone of vision opens up. These features moderate drivers approach speed. Finally there are low growing bushes partially blocking your view to encourage you to make sure it is safe to proceed. They have also hatched out parts of the roundabout so you can creep forwards more than normal to get a better view in relative safety. Once on the roundabout we get spiralled out to go under the flyover. At this point there is only one lane. So the right hand lane we were in no longer exists there is just one. The council has engineered this. All the traffic gives way to us as we come out into daylight. At this point I suggest you need to move over completely to the left and get close to the kerb line by accelerating and moving left at a shallow angle. (I always like to accelerate to some extent to change lanes as it creates space behind). If we had moved completely left at this point we would already be heading straight into the left turn lane for the exit we require A463 Dudley. Taz leaves the move over a bit late and at 38.34 is heading for the A454 right turn lane. Traffic may have joined from the left and caught up by now and be in that lane and faster following traffic might have occupied the space you left earlier. So her lane change is more difficult to do safely. At 38.38 an impatient driver shoots past forcing through on the hatched area and rockets up the hill. If Taz had occupied the left lane from the start this guy would have been dealt with by Taz a lot better by controlling the overall situation. Same roundabout at 49.10 with minimum assistance goes much better but still a bit late moving over left.

I wish I would have had all those massive spiral roundabouts to deal with when I was learning, but I live in a quiet area so I've just had to learn once I've passed on the few occasions I've had to deal with them as I don't get many in my area.

Pin - Did you notice your student is keeping your car at the biting point for quite a while before moving off e.g. at traffic light. Probably you might be aware that keeping at the biting point for so long leads to wearing the clutch down. Many learner drivers do that.

Hatched markings on roundabouts? They're only to be used if you REALLY need to use them. But in normal use - keep out of them. A bus or lorry may need to use one section for the cab, or another time for the trailer when there is no more room for the cab up front.

I m learning driving, and spiral round about are the hardest thing that I don't understand. When I watch vdos I understand but when I m in spiral round about I get confuse with the multi lanes and go to the wrong lane 😒😒😒😒😒

Spiral roundabouts are easier than 3 your normal 3 lane round about because the lines guide you out
