Magnus is so deliciously goofy and totally sweet. I think the things he says and the questions he asks are honest and important, if a bit ignorant. Isak brings this up in S.4.

Remember that the Skam experience in Norway at the time it was released included real time social media posts and text messages. This episode we got some good ones. Isak has apologized to Eskild in a text, that’s why Eskild begins the conversation with ‘I accept your apology’. Isak and Jonas (his best friend with the amazing eyebrows) discuss telling the other two, Isak asks if Jonas thinks they know, as he has realised it is getting around the school (after the message from Vilde), Jonas offers to have a chat with them to find out what they know, Isak says ‘no I should speak to them’ and then they come up with the plan for pre-drinks. Isak’s initial plan is to tell them then but the opportunity comes up a little earlier. ❤
I love how you casually said how Even would just come by and then... tadaaa :) Did you notice/remember how the girl in Ep.1 in the bathroom at that party wanted to go down on Isak and he was like "let's not go there" and the parallel to this moment with Even, that little smile on his face right before the episode ended. This series really is so damn good at so many details. I cannot wait for yous to watch the next episode!!!! 😘
I love how Magnus and Madhi are basically not bothered enough by Isak coming out that they're debating whether or not someone is pansexual. And then when they're talking around the table it's like it would be for any of them in a relationship. Isak being comfortable enough to clap back at Magnus is actually really sweet as well because he's confident in their friendship.
This episode was great but the the next 2 episodes are my fave. There's a scene in ep 9 that's so good it actually won an award for a tv moment of the year!
I really love that you see that Magnus doesn't mean it rude at all. He is just a little clumsy in his words. And my heart always skips a beat when Even is standing there in the door. He is so cute ❤ I really love this episode his coming out with his other friends too and yes the word is not nice but it 'fits' in the boys friendship.
Oh Magnus bless him! He's just so clueless and sweet. His mouth is faster than his brain. But I think he really is curious and doesn't want to offend Isak at all. Isak knows that, hence his response. ! Do we really have to wait another week though?
The actor who plays him, David Stakston, has the main roll in Ragnarok. "Penetrator Chris" who makes a fleeting appearance in this series, and 'Sonja' both play main characters too. Well worth a watch, if you haven't seen it already.
Not sure if y’all know but the school this show was filmed in is a real one that many of the actors attended, even while filming. The actor playing Isak went there and that’s his locker. Love the reactions!
That kitchen scene is my favourite part of all of the Skam adaptations combined. Every little thing about it works - the flow of the conversation, the facial expressions - it's all so, so good.
Eskild is known for being advisory but not really providing solutions. since the previous season his character was like this. and i love it😋 yes, Magnus is very innocent. he really didn't know but he will really help Isak with the other problem later. bless his innocent soul. we know nothing about Even because SKAM's concept is the central character's POV. so in this season we just only hang out with Isak wherever he goes and who he interacts with. Also yeah, in the previous season Isak was very popular with the girls. he once dated one of the popular girls in their peers. I thought it would be great if you had the chance to watch seasons 1&2 and 4 to see how far Isak's character has developed. it's so beautiful❤ Can't wait for next eps reaction
I love the couple of interactions with the friends in this one. Especially the pre-party drinks one, where they're all so supportive. I knew immediately he would show up and not just call 😍

Loving these videos and your comments!! ☺️ Also, I love his friend's reactions because they're realistic, like you can have someone in your life who's mature and doesn't react at all, like Jonas, but you can also have people like Vilde, or Magnus, who are a bit ignorant (they're just teenagers) and immature, but are genuinely nice people, who just need to learn a lot. And the most important thing is... Isak got his support network back! He has his friends helping him and rooting for his relationship with Even, he has someone like Eskild to be his guru and a big brother figure, and well... We must watch till the end. In season 4 they talk a bit more about these "ignorant and annoying" questions. Also, we know a lot more about Even "mystery"

Magnus (blonde) is going to have a really nice scene later in this series and even though he's immature, he's going to come through in a wonderful way for Isak.

I wonder if you guys will be up to watching a recoplitaion of Isak in s4. There is specially a part (there surely is a clip somehwere of just that 4 minutes) where he talks about those type of ignorant questions Magnus asks and to this day I think he brings a very good point. The only difference is that Isak didn’t follow his own advice here. He just deflected Magnus’ innocent and uninitiated question and took to roasting him instead.

I think some people forget that Even was cheating on Sonja and that they had had a well established relationship at that point. It also doesnt appear that Even was struggling with his sexuality and seemed quite comfortable with being attracted to both men and women. Sure it was great that Isak had accepted his sexuality and he wanted to be with Even but Sonja wasn't under any obligation to welcome him with open arms and be happy he was now with her ex-boyfriend. Sonja wasn't the villain. None of them were. I just feel people attack Sonja unfairly.
I love this episode and your reaction to it. I think I read that Isak (Tarjei) was too young when this was first filmed to have more explicit sex scenes. (Same with Ervin in Young Royals.)

Did he? I dont think so. I think he lied about it, feeling pressured by the boys. And he said in season 4 that his relationship with Sara (season 2) wasn't "s*xual" that they mostly just talked and he was like her online therapist.
I don't think we have a direct answer about it, but most likely he didnt have any experience before Even. Just some kissing etc. He is not into girls at all, so it is unlikely he had sex with any of them.
Lol Absolutely not! What are you smoking? Watch S4 and you’ll know that Even was his first. He mostly just talked and made out with the girls. Poor kid couldn’t even tolerate Emma going down on him.
