I'm from Appalachia, born and raised, but moved out at 18 to Wisconsin 🤢 I remember the coverage of Katrina, it was shoved down my throat when i was 23. It was covered everywhere and i very much rememeber the Hollywood elites using their star power and influence to raise money for Nola. I remember the news outlets placing so much blame on Bush, i rememebr Kanye infamously blank staring at the camera and saying "Bush doesn't care about black people" i remember even almost 20 yrs later how that is STILL referenced to this day. Even in recent times; i remember Oprah and the Rock pleading for money to help out Oprah's Real Estate ventures... i mean Hawaii.. But when disaster hits poverty striken Appalachia it's nothing, but a drunken Kamala Harris standing in front of a podium slurring word salads and saying nothing of substance as usual. Oh and some demonic southern chick on TikTok gleefully cheering for the distruction and lost lives of "racists" well.. like i said; i grew up in Appalachia and moved to WI as an adult. It wasn't until i lived in WI that I heard a racist say the "N" word. Let me say, there are more openly racist people in Wisconsin then I've ever met in the south.

Go Get 'Em Tiger! I have such respect for Sen. Kennedy. He is a LION up there at the Capital! Thank you Louisiana for sending up a true legal lion with such skills! I didn't realize he went to Vanderbilt AND UVA - I truly believe THOSE schools are better than some of these IVY League schools. And he is a testament to the talented professionals the schools are capable of bringing us. Kamala Harris went to HOWARD where she supposedly got a degree in Economics and then she did her law studies in San Francisco. I am so curious just what class rank she achieved at either school. Gee, I would like to know where she ranked in her Canadian High School too. Why have those facts been hidden? Nothing to brag about maybe? Anyone figure out how many of her lawsuits and laws she pushed through in CA have been overturned? I lost count...

I have been asking the same question since the hurricane... here we are , people still needing rescues from air, boots on the ground, horses/mules. Ft Bragg is right down the road a few hours. Info from the inside, those soldiers want to be here in WNC but just need orders. 1000 was sent a few days ago, 500 more soldiers will be released... for the land mass of Massachusetts. I agree it is alarming
