@@SeanBGames the reason you can't play around with fun units is because you need plenty of high value runes like Obabo has to be able to use those units. Just grind more Dimensional Dungeons for those Legendary Runes that are better. But hey everyone thinks that Giants Abyss is the best way for Runes. It's not.
Hey man. Might be a waste of time, but can you please make a video on crit rate and crit damage. Why some units can do so much dmg without crit dmg. I know some skills stats this, but what other reasons is crit dmg a waste. I see this so much and feel like I am getting rid of good runes chasing the wrong stuff.
I think additional dmg artifacts have a huge role on this case, the additional dmg is pure. Shihou can still oneshot a def broken unit with spd atk atk build if your artifacts good enough.
One of the most efficient rolls on artifacts is crit damage. U can get a lot of cd on artifacts. Units have different scaling and multipliers, some units have dmg skills with spd scaling, meaning u can skip cd and go cr instead while focusing the rest of your stats into spd. Same goes for every other unit, if u run crit damage on slot 4 u need a lot of substats into cr instead of %atk. Cd slot 4 in rta is mostly reserved for actual nukers, stuff that u want to one or two shot with or units that have innate crit rate on a certain skill. Bottom line is that if u want to have a balanced unit, going for cd slot 4 forces u to trade a lot of substat rolls for crit rate instead. Which isnt worth doing for most units.
Generally skills that scale on something other than atk is when you absoputelt want high crit rate and damage. Eg veramos spectra scale on boss hp so they will dispeoportionaly benifit from crit damage. This does not mean that 'normal' attack scaling units do not benifit immensely from critical damage. For these units you should have the same +ATK% as +CritD% for maximum damage. (Assuming 100 percent critical rate)
